Heh.You write your first two sentences as if you've been with her for weeks. Then we come to discover it's only been one damn week and she's barely out of an old relationship. Heck, for all you know, she's actually still with the guy/they're taking a quick break etc. So I would bring my expectations way down and actually see the situation for what it really is so far.

And when is she saying that she doesn't want to hook up every time? In the moment or in advance over text? If you don't feel you're getting your needs met or aren't interested in the song and dance, I'd focus more on other women. She may yet come around down the line.

I would rather give myself options by seeing other girls and avoid getting attached until she clarify what she want, to manage my risk. At that point, you can always make a decision if your situation doesn't change.

Even if you think she's lying or messing you around, you can NEVER call anybody out on this and expect to have a relationship left at the end of it. Always keep it in the back of your mind that they *might* be lying, but always give people the benefit of the doubt until they clearly prove it beyond a doubt.

When a girl talks about her ex, she's typically talking about a guy she was sleeping with last. Whether they actually had or still have a relationship of some kind or not is somewhat irrelevant. She just wants you to think that the guy is history, when that may not be the case.

She then mentions needing "breathing room" between her last "relationship" and yet she has sex with you anyway, but then acts difficult. All signs point to the fact that she likes sleeping around right now and doesn't want to get attached to you or anyone. She's putting all of this in the context of managing her relationships so that you don't think she's a slut (which she's trying to hide I think). This is fairly normal behavior with women after ONS as well. Everything is great in bed, but outside of the bedroom they tend to act like they don't want to know you any more.

Usually the story is that the "ex" was "mean" to her so she's not seeing him anymore... or some nonsense like that. She's probably open to sleeping with him again though, but in order to not look like a slut she'll say that they got back together or something when she refuses to see you anymore. Maybe he's a really good root, but she's trying to expand her options. Women can also do this if they're hunting for provider material after getting knocked up by said "ex". A lot of dudes fall into the "captain save a ho" frame after hearing her sob story about how badly her "ex" treats her. Then these dudes offer themselves up as an alternative and be extra nice to her, but strangely (at least to them) sex doesn't happen! While they're confused as to why they're being nicer to her than the ex is, they might eventually wake up to themselves that they're being used, and what's more, discover that she really enjoys getting slammed in bed by the ex on a routine basis! It usually is that the only "bad" thing the ex does to her is to reject her for any long-term relationship because he's banging some other girl himself.

Anyway, women don't really need to clarify their relationship status unless they feel like you're projecting a relationship onto her that she doesn't want. She puts it this way in order to let you down that you may not have a reliable sexual go-to in future, but also to cover herself lest you think she's sleeping around - which she probably is anyway.

As a guy - yeah this can suck, but beautiful women in their youth have the ability to sleep around much more than most guys do and it's damn frustrating. This is why you have to learn game - so you too have options. Present yourself as a manwhore to the women who want to sleep around and you'll get your fair share of poontang as well.

Whatever you do, don’t smother her, or vomit feelings at her. Call it what it is - you’re probably a rebound. Give her a bit of space, don’t pursue her all the time. And just create fun hangouts. See if you can get her over to drink a bottle or wine, cook dinner together. Be a source of fun, and not pressure for her.

I'm trying to read between the lines here just based on one side of the story.

"Last week" - she's rebounding
"she doesn't want to hook up with me every time I see her... breathing room" - She's feeling a tad slutty moving on so quickly from her last relationship.
"always getting really physical" - Her words aren't matching her actions. When in doubt, read the actions and disregard the words.

My read on this is that she's looking for some deniability for her feelings of moving on too quickly, but she DOES want to have a sexual relationship with you. Basically, you need to be a sex Jesus and absolve her of her 'sin' by taking the responsibility and causal actions of sex unto yourself.

IMO, the way to play this is to make the sex "just happen" and to disqualify the sex. For example, instead of texting, "Come over for dessert ;)" say something that disqualifies the sex like, "Taking my neighbor's dog for a walk come through if you like. Just no funny business since I'm trying to set a good example for Fido." Both of those are poor lines, but something along the lines of disqualifying the sex.

Then, if things get heavy when you meet - she has deniability that she PLANNED to have sex with you. The sex 'just happened.' Basically, don't try to change her mind on the sex, change the way she feels about the sex.

Heads up, you're the side guy. She's playing. Reason she's emotional is because she's banging 2 different men within days or potentially the same day, women are not emotionally or mentally strong enough to cope with this which is why most women need huge time between relationships.
