I can help you with the pictures. I believe every guy should use these 5 pictures.

Picture of you from the waist up and SMILING. I don’t care if you hate your smile. Other women won’t, it also shows that you’re open, friendly, and not a threat. Also shows that you aren’t hiding your body. NO SELFIES.
Full body picture. So the girl can get an idea about how you look altogether. Again smiling, preferably different locale, and clothing.
Hobby picture. Just a picture of you doing something that you like. Anything really, so she can get any idea of what you like and that you have a life.
Picture with friends. Make sure the pic is with only guys as if there’s a girl they may get confused. This shows them that you’re social and not a loner.
Dealers choice. Anything you want. If she has made it this far, she is interested. So consider this picture as icing on the cake. Whatever you’d like.

Don’t take any selfies or pictures with the angle from below. They both look bad. Selfies indicate you may not have any friends or close family to help you. When someone else takes your picture it provides them with the knowledge that you’re sociable, likeable, and friendly. You’re only as good as your best picture. If all your pics are 10’s and your last one is a 4. Then guess which one needs to be deleted. Remember Tinder is shallow. Your looks are mainly all you’re being based on. The best bio in the world won’t really help you if they aren’t attracted to you. I’d suggest putting some of your pics on PhotoFeeler to gage how good your photos and overall attractiveness is. Or post yourself on Rateme. The sad reality of it is that if you’re scoring around a 5/10 in the attractiveness scale, then OLD is going to be harder for you. Women are flooded with 100’s of men DM’ing them. If you had the same options would you “settle” for a girl? Good pictures thankfully can do a lot of heavy lifting. Most common complaint I hear from men about getting pictures is that it’s “to much work”. To that I say thanks for making it easier for us. It also shows that if a guy can’t take an hour out of his day to get some good pictures and better market himself, then why would the guy bring anything of worth to the relationship. I used to work with a young girl (early 20s) and I would look through her dating apps for shit and giggles. Based on the profiles that got her attention VS the swipe lefts here is what NOT to do:

Don't post photos with a cat
Don't post photos hiding your face or smiling sheepishly as if you are ashamed of yourself
Don't have professional photos of you that communicate "I am trying too hard"
Don't post photos where you appear too nice and soft like you have no edge or aggressiveness at all.
Don't post a photo wjth a bunch of guys who are taller and better looking than you.
Don't post photos with girls where you are obviously "only a friend".

DO:

Post photos of you playing a sport
Playing an instrument
Doing something you like like surfing, driving a motorcycle, on the beach, partying, whatever
Post photos showing your face clearly
Post photos that convey "I'm sexy and I know it"
Post photos that have some edge and naughtiness to them, like you have at least a bit of a bad boy in you that is capable of spanking her ass and choking her.

For bios, don't be dry and boring. Be funny and witty. Be naughty. Write something that can be a "that's what she said joke" without the punchline.

5/6 pics is fine. Face shot, full body shot, pic of you doing an activity etc. If you have muscle definition it’ll help. Bio short, make it funny if you can. Messages should be short and simple. No life story until you’ve had sex. Usually about 5-6 messages

You missed the boat bro. The glory days of tinder, PoF, OKC, Bumble etc are over and it peaked around ‘15-17 for me when they keep changing the rules that favor mostly the women. That change to swipe mode and pay to play system didn’t helped at all and you still see the same obvious bots with fake profiles. Someone needs to design & make a new app since the main big ones are already slumped with so many online serial daters, bots and scammers.

Copy+paste funny pick up line
Ask their interests/ what they do, look for key questions that keep the conversation engaging
Lie to create rapport (say that you like the same things, obviously don’t overdo it)
Use other dumb pick up line to get the chat out of the dating app
Ask if they’ve been on a date from dating app before, then ask them on a date

Repeat about 15 times and you’re guaranteed at least one date, probably more. I’ve done this for the last 2 days and got a date tomorrow and potential sex for weed on the weekend. Could have gotten more if I wanted to but couldn’t be bothered to text back.

It's just about looks honestly. Use one close up while smiling, some full body ones while doing interesting things, hobbies etc. For a later pic, you can use group pictures, maybe even with women, for social proof. But NEVER start off with group pictures.

Honestly you just need good looking, high quality pics and you need to be good looking, well -groomed, fashionable yourself. Good physical shape is a big bonus. Dating apps are basically: "don't be ugly or good luck" As cruel as it sounds, it's reality

I just started dating online profiles. I had help from my brother as I've been a meet someone in person/usually in a relationship kinda guy.

My brother is much more of the "feeler" type personality whereas I'm a logical forward type. He was able to help me out a lot of what would normally go over my head. I don't read deep into something to find other meanings but girls are masters of overthinking so it's good to keep that in mind.

The most liked comment here (technical_hawk) has it down pretty well. O and you're going to get ghosted time and time again without knowing why so just move on to the next one
