Reminds me of that one friend who was playfully chatting with a girl for 15 minutes getting to know her during a party, he just looked her in the eyes and she looked at him for a few seconds during one of those silence moment where they just finished a conversation topic and he just said ”Smash” with confidence slow calm aggressive voice while having that smug look.

I fumbled hard a female friend who was into me because of lack of experience.

For the first year that we knew each other I knew she was into me but I wasn’t really interested in her at the moment and didn’t care much what she thought about me. I said and texted her whatever without thinking, often probably being rude or sexist etc. by accident. It was never an issue and it seemed her attraction only increased.

When I started to consider her seriously I did a sudden 180. I started walking on eggshells and reading every text message I was about to send multiple times for errors, before I said anything i had to think hard and muster courage etc.

Needless to say she lost interest and we don’t even hang out anymore or talk to each other because i was so desperate.

Men really should be less afraid of what they say or do. I’ve seen guys that weren’t even „Chads” get away with some nasty behavior just because of their confidence.
