As men, we are expected to approach. We are expected to sort the logistics out for the first date. We have to make the first move. We have to be confident, outgoing, charismatic and have high value to get a woman to be interested in us. We have to bear the brunt of constant rejection. We have to get over being labelled as creeps by women just because they weren't interested.

Women don't have to do this. Why doesn't a woman have to be confident and insecurity free? Why don't women approach? This sub always says if you stay on the sidelines the whole time you won't be successful. The top post right now is about having courage to approach women. Why are women held to this? Why aren't women told to be courageous and brave?

Another post I saw was made by a guy who didn't make a move on a girl resulting in her in getting up and leaving. Instead of guys saying that she isn't confident so you shouldn't be concerned, or that she could have made a move herself, OP was told that it was his fault for not having the balls to make a move. How is that fair? Guys get nervous and worried just as much as women. We have the added concern of being labelled as a creep if we make a move when it wasn't wanted. Women don't have this issue. So why then aren't women criticized for not making the move when they have less to lose?

Then there's the whole shitshow that is dating apps. As an average guy, I have never got a match or reply on any dating site. But any average woman has at least 5 matches a day.

All this stuff has made me less attracted to women, and that's a problem. How can I get over all this and just accept that I'm going to have a harder time getting a date than a woman?
