You get labeled weird by people that can't work you out. Probably means you are a little deeper than most. If you are worried about it try connecting with other 'werdo's'. You'll find they are much more interesting and easier to get on with.

When I was a little kid I got called weird, and that really stuck with me.

Look, maybe you can't undo that history. But you can fight it. When those thoughts rise up in your heads..... the echoes of those people who called you weird, you need counter-thoughts of realism to cancel them out. Some helpful things to keep in mind and relentlessly remind yourself about:

Everyone is f--king weird in some way.
People who called you weird, were just insecure and wanting to feel better about themselves. It's such a cliche'.

I don't do anything supremely weird (no MLP shit, no neck beard, no creeping)

There you go. Throw this one on the stack. If you can't remind yourself of things like this, no one else is going to. This isn't magic, it takes work, to fight history of (verbal) bullying.

I also have a lot of friends!

F--k it man. Embrace whatever weirdness you have and realize that there will always be someone weirder than you in SOME category. Do you hang yourself on meat hooks? I've seen that. And that guy took someone home with him after his show.

I just get anxious around a lot of people because I feel like they are going to think I'm weird.

Some people aren't going to like you. Some will. You have no control over it, but worrying about whether people will think you're weird, is a waste of time because it will repel people who might otherwise like you.

Own whatever personality quirks you have man. Take your weirdness and multiple it by 100 and express it in front of people. In my opinion this is what charisma is. You have it too it's just your hiding it.

Try a Myers Briggs personality test, INxx's are usually the weird ones. Then take a look at the more 'normal' ES type descriptions, which basically boils down to being more present and reactive, think zombie like.

Humans look for patterns it's what we do, it's the foundation of consciousness to be able to predict the future. We build an internal model of the world and warg into others before and during interactions as part of the process. If you meet someone that is not familiar or acts in a way you do not understand the ability to model is under threat, it results in either fear or interest. The former for the less sophisticated, that's why they may call others weird and try to distance themselves. Imagine someone from 1,000 years ago dropped into a night club. Conversely someone from the present day would probably be more curious than scared by interactions with people from the past.

Hi. I'm a weird guy. I'm also an introvert. I talk to myself in public, laugh at my own jokes, am confrontational and have an autism quotient of 25 (a score of 26 indicates mild autism).

Hi, again. I'm also the shit and slay pussy like a medieval knight. How? I put my weird on display. I'm not weird for weirdnessess sake. I'm not "random" or "awkward" on purpose. The difference is that I massage my weirdness as a source of charisma and I massage it into my intelligence.

But how do I do it? Self awareness! It seems like you're aware of that fact! That's the first step! The second step is being okay with it!

Girls want you to succeed! Girls want you to be genuine when you approach them! I'm reminded of the movie Hitch when Hitch says, "No woman ever wakes up in the morning and says to themselves, 'I hope I don't get swept off my feet today.'"

Girls want a guy that is comfortable in their own skin, even if they're weird. Remember that adorable guy in high school that was so goofy and odd but in a charming way that all the girls fawned over? People like you and I, we're that guy, at least potentially! Well, I wasn't, but I am now except in college.

You've made out with girls, so you already know you can pull in chicks. I bet you 10 bucks that you pulled in those girls because you felt super comfy being yourself.

But what do you do if you approach a girl that you don't automatically feel comfortable around? Break her frame! There can only be one frame and yours must be the one that controls the interaction! How do you break her frame? Be yourself so hard that she starts to question why she feels bad for not being a weirdo. I swear to god, it works. You'll also be happier and confident, which further increases your chances with women, creating a positive feedback loop...

I just got a snap from a lady fried of some awkward, fat person dancing around in public. I responded with what I had in my heart: You should fuck that guy.

Embrace it. I don't know that makes you think you're weird but in most cases, embracing it sort of cancels it out. That weird habit/characteristic then goes from being "weird" to being a part of your personality. Every single person does some things that can be considered "weird" - whether it be the way they dress, the music they listen to, the stereotype they don't fit, etc. For me, my mind is all over the place and I sometimes say things completely out of context. I used to think I was weird but now I've accepted it as a part of my personality and as a result, everyone else around me has as well. If I said something random and acted nervous and anxious, people would say "what a weird cunt [pardon the language, I'm aussie]" whereas I could say the same thing, but this time laugh it off and say "oh yeah I kind of have random thought spasms hahah" and that now becomes something they associate with me, not necessarily in a negative way.
