I'm sure everyone has been through this sometime in their life. Whether it was a relationship that went on for years or just someone you've dated for 2 months.

You know when you get hit with that vague, cliche, easy let down text message and that's the end of it?

How do you stop yourself from ruminating and wondering what went wrong? I really do believe the most painful thing with breakups isn't necessarily losing that person, but instead being left unsure and confused. It's the not having any closure that prevents it from being closed for me.

Do you guys have any thoughts on this phenomenon? I always hear "oh you make your own closure and no one owes you anything," but I mean... I still feel hurt. That sounds good in theory, but then I still find myself waking up in the morning being confused.

I also sometimes feel angry at the person because them just being honest for one minute could have saved so much grief.

What are your thoughts?
