I've noticed that there is some advice from this sub and from books that seems to contradict other advice. I would be interested in your thoughts around this.

Examples:

-If one is seen around female friends, one is recognized as a more valuable male, because females feel comfortable. However, women might also think that a female friend is a gf, and could lose interest.

-When I go for a walk with a partner, I get way more stares from women. But when I'm in conversation and mention that I'm in an open relationship, most seem to lose interest. The same seems to happen if I put in on my profile on a dating app.

-One should show intent, however, if one is to direct, it might scare her. It has happened to me that I don't escalate quickly enough, which makes the woman think that I'm just being friendly. Sometimes it turns out she has a boyfriend and I was wasting time. If I escalate too quickly, she might think, I'm only after sex.

-One should not put her on a pedestal or give her too much attention. This shows that one is not needy and has options, but if one ignores her too much, she will give up and move on.

-One has to appear as if someone is experienced and has options, but should avoid being seen as a womanizer.

-When going out, one should focus on having fun and women will come. However, if one is not approaching or being social, women are not going to approach, because most only send signals and don't go over to speak to you.

I don't know if I'm being clear, but I guess these are the sorts of things that can be hardly learned with theory and where practice and experience is so important. But I'm still interested in your thoughts around these topics.
