If world population is close to equal, why are there more lonely men out there than there are women?

A smaller number of men are pulling a proportionally higher number of women, because women have higher standards than men do. Which makes you think men would have more relationships cuz they’ll take anything, but the bottom tier men have no chance at actually getting a gf, whereas even the least attractive girls have a chance.

In this decade, there are more women who have college educations, high paying jobs, and can afford to be "picky" about when and whom they marry/have kids with. The days of needing a husband are long over with, leaving a lot of the scales uneven because a man who previously would be great (on paper), a woman may now decide he isnt what she wants or needs in order to have a comfortable future. And AGE has a lot to do with it...these women are getting their "shit together" in their early to mid 20s, so their opportunity of finding a guy at their level or higher is greater - and they rightly take advantage of that opportunity!

On the flip side, let's be honest here...almost every sub that has to do with relationships or relating to others in some manner (r/dating, r/relationships, r/socialskills, r/seduction, r/foreveralone, r/incelhate, r/virginityexchange...etc) is FULL of men who were either never taught OR just arent able to master - relating, on a simple social level. I am not attacking nor blaming these guys either...but if things are going to change, there has to be open communication and dialogue. Reading their posts - inevitably a lot of these guys only hobbies are "I play video games - how can I get laid?"...which is cool, but doesn't help with relating to others IRL. They even admit to having no friends...or they are afraid of just saying HI to a woman because of anxiety. Mix in the epidemic of depression, throw in a side of anxiety, and sprinkle in a host of any one of several developmental, neurological, or mental health disorders or issues...and you have created a lot of lonely guys who have no idea how to get out of it, but all they do know is they want a gf...what to have sex...want to lose their virginity. 🤷‍♀️

I almost forgot about the "un-wanted" folks...the ones that people consider too ugly, too fat, too broke, too uneducated...blah blah blah. That mix of individuals may not be what the majority of society considers f*ckable or dateable. So those lonely men turn those gals down...but in the end stay lonely

Last...I feel like Reddit never has been an accurate picture of the real dating population. I feel like all the guys described in the above paragraph tend to congregate where they can feel understood...and so Reddit becomes that place. Making it seem like there is this huge amount of lonely men, when the reality is that it is really just a huge amount of Reddit subscribers in dating/relating subs are the "lonely ones".

Online game do have more men, but that could be because they prefer this kind of way of meeting more than women.

Also men have very high standards when it comes to physical attractiveness of the female. 6 don’t want to go below 8. Which reduces his chances considerably.

Also men tend to favour ONS more than women, making them always single.

A study was made. The top 78% of women are competing for top 20% of men. While only top 20% of men are competing for the top 20% of women.

So bassicly a large pool of women don't consider 80% of men an option. It's not the same with men.

Anyway ya'll are wrong. Just bringing it down to status and money. You could have zero status and little money and still find decent women, so I don't know where you're getting this. Stone-hearted cynics...
