This is my take:

Think of attraction as a seed that is either there or is planted randomly. Maybe it's planted thanks to an act of kindness, a musical performance, a sporty act, a witty joke, being her type, being rich, you name it. You can't control how this seed is planted, nor the fact that it is there or not.

Seduction is nurturing that seed, making it grow into a plant that produces a fruit. The fruit might be a number, a K-close, an F-close, a FWB, a long-term relationship. Pick your fruit.

However, the point is, if the seed is not there there's nothing to grow, and you can't control it. If you tried to control it, you would have the opposite effect. It would be trying too hard to impress someone, to generate attraction that isn't there.

Just would like to start with you are overthinking “seduction” as a magical phenomenon that could make someone who’s repulsive find someone who’s Godly attractive and make them be attractive to each other like magnets. This isn’t a math equation. It’s a skill, so it goes under different logic and different principles. Just like in a different sense going to the gym and acquiring muscle. I you go to the gym every day of the week thinking you are going to go get bulky like Baki the grappler or like Mr. Universe you are just going to hit that massive roadblock that it’s not possible. There is a method to apply in practice and in discipline in order to achieve the goal. In a similar note, seduction has nothing to do with choosing anyone in any setting. And that’s what a lot of men think that seduction is. Rather, it’s finding who in the crowd is attracted to you and allowing their desires to come out using the right words and actions from a man’s to woman’s perspective to say “I’m available tonight if you are”. Or if your brash and cunning and fearless and do not have a worry in the world of consequences that “We could go to the bathroom or around this corner right now if you are brave enough”.

Another issue to your philosophical approach to it is that you are too dependent upon the outcome of making something out of nothing. You believe you bring nothing to the table of value when since you believe that it’s true. But even idiots go out there and try and give the impression “I’ve got a nice car and full tank of gas. Let’s go.” And often on I’d say their success rate would be around 20/80% just on trying without other core fundamentals in place.

If you were to simply try and adjust basic principles of dating, you could pull at a 5/95% ratio because of how woman think. But you’d still get a date and possibly sleep with her if she’s of that 5% that would just sleep with anyone. But this is where you have to ignore the math. Because X does not get additive and Y does not have numeral properties.

You have 3 types of men, 3 types of woman, 5 different love languages, 5 reversals of what the toxic trait could be based on the love language. And for each quantifying measure of type of person with the love language and reversal, you have to factor in high self esteem, or low. And high sex drive, or low sex drive.

The math within finding the needle in a haystack here is too complex to look from a mathematical perspective. And not practical when dating or within the game of seduction. And none of this information even matters if you are too dependent on trying to get a relationship or trying to get laid. Because that shows desperation which throws attraction out the window. So even if you were a 10/10 and ran at someone begging for them to love you, that scares people. So there’s “A SOCIAL” aspect to it. Which again, debunks this being a possible rational practice that can be used through a numeric system.

What my actual solution is to try it from a curious scientific perspective.

Test what works, fail, test another possibility. Fail, test another possible solution. Succeed? Find out how. Look back and see what didn’t work and don’t think on it too long but find other people with success and ask them. Like an actual scientist. Be curious, have fun, say that something or in this case “Someone” is interesting. Hope this is a valid argument. Would love feedback.

The answer is yes a 100% at leas when we are talking about you being a man seducing women which is the most common one. Why is my answers that? Simply because I have done it and seen it happen many many times. You just need to know what to do and how it works. The best way for me to show you this is true, is to tell you how to do it and for you go test it and succeed. If we were talking about us guys getting attracted to girls we didnt want before I think that would probably involve more of a "physical" improvent on their part. Since us guys a are essentially attracted based on physical appearance while women are essentially attracted based on behaviour.

Hmm... I will start by saying one of my favorite quotes - "Attraction is not a choice, but seduction is."

My own interpretation of the relationship dynamic is that initial attraction starts by two people interacting with each other. Whether that will end up as friendship or lover is up to how you can project your persona and intention after you build some rapport. Thereafter, the journey of seduction can proceed as an option.

For me, attraction is a stage where you are building comfort with a potential lover. That means, a (straight) man is figuring out if a woman is right for him, both physically and emotionally, and the other way around. I associate seduction more as physical and emotional attraction on an already established rapport. For those already within a relationship, seduction is a lifelong journey for that relationship to last.

What I mean by that is a person might be attracted to you without expressing their attraction.

I disagree to this view. I believe that a person attracted to another will always express it in one form or another. It's just that it doesn't guarantee the other person noticing them.

I'm asking if this type of seduction is actually possible because how can you even go about creating attraction.

Say, if a man and a woman are both thinking, "I can/want to fuck right now. Anyone will do." before they met, as strangers, in a club. I'd like to say that the most important thing, regardless of gender, is physical attractiveness. But hey, who says that either one of them even cares? All either one of them has to say to the other is, "Hey, do you wanna fuck?" Is there a rapport building that leads to attraction in their interaction? No. Is this seduction? Yes, just by asking that question. The odds of this happening? Zero, if neither one of the two ask the other. Will this end as a lasting relationship? Probably not.

Why is this sub called seduction and not attraction? Better term marketing and implication.

I think you are hung up on attraction. Seduction in its basic sense is about sex, not love or attraction. Elevating attraction is a tool to help you get there. Is it possible to convince someone to have sex with you sex with you who isn't attracted to you? Sure, sometimes people just need sex. Have you ever slept with a friend and later regretted it? If not, I bet you know someone who has. Talk to them about how that happened.

It’s very common that initial girl’s take about you would be “I don’t know”. By following seduction principles, you are clearing out her feelings to your favor. Also, technically it is even possible to “seduce” girls that are not attracted to you at all by appealing to their biological conditioning, but being able to put out such stunt is usually much more difficult than just improving yourself gradually with standard masculine code and attract compatible partners.

I think most cases you don’t use “seduction” to make someone who’s not attracted to you be attracted but the other way around, to not turn down someone who was attracted to you already
