The key is to not text very much. This kills two birds with one stone in that I don't like texting or spending all my time texting, and potentially being too available and thus losing interest. I'd simply text only to setup plans for face to face meeting.

My rule is: if I'm texting, I'm sexting.

I move the conversation much faster to sex, innuendo, etc. if we are going to keep it strictly text.

Otherwise, set the date and get off text, or call her for a real conversation. But text = sext.

In my very limited experience, I've let the girl lead with texting and follow the 1:1 rule where possible, and that seems to work.

Current girl I'm seeing this weekend has been odd - major flirting and banter has (and continues to) take place over text. Have already had date #1 with her including major k-close. She'll be coming over to my apartment this friday. Last few texts between us, very steamy.

I think I know what you're looking for- tips to make good conversation to keep her interested. I suck at texting too, which is why ive stopped focusing my game on it. Text pretty much only to set up your next meeting, even if it means several days of no texting. If it will be more than a week before you hang out again, then wait until the halfway point and then you can text her to just talk. This actually does more for you than you would imagine. It won't work in all situations but it typically seems to work.

The thing about text is that, assuming everything is done as well as possible, 10 percent of the time it increases interest level, 40 percent of the time it keeps it neutral, and the other 50 percent of the time it stagnates and is just an interruption/annoyance in the woman's day.

The key point is that the texting part doesn't matter - her interest level does, and texting is not the key to raising her interest level. You can build 50 times more interest in person in 5 minutes than you can in 5 hours of texting.

However, IF she has a high interest in you, you can talk about almost anything over text and she'll be hanging onto your words, praying for you to invite her over or ask her out. But the texting itself is doing almost nothing for her.

So, if your "text game" is weak, your game is weak period.

If this is really honestly happening but they're ignoring your texts, you're either sending the worst texts I've ever even heard of, or something else is going on. It's not the texts.

Always be closing. Text is not part of that equation unless it sets up a date.

Text for logistical purposes, not to try to build attraction. Basically, you should be texting to arrange dates. Text her something to get on her radar, then suggest meeting up.

The seduction community's opinion seems to be that text game is inherently harder than in person. I think they need to step up their word-smithing. The lack of body language and tonality is a pain, but no other form of communication gives you ample time to think of a response. For beginners, this is a great way to practice your wit.

The rule of text only for logistics is fine, but let's be real, we live in the information age and a good deal of our interactions happen over media like this, so having text game is a good addition to your toolbox.

I think it's a good tool for building rapport and even dialing up the attraction. The caveat is that you have to be a little more on the playful side. Push/pull, agree and amplify, teasing, etc. You'll want to do this even more over text than you would in person. Leave bait for questions she can ask you. It creates some intrigue as she feels like she's getting to know you.

You'll notice that all of these are things you should be doing in person as well. The difference is that because you have so much time to think, there is no room for filler.

If anyone is interested, I can put up some transcriptions of successful text convos I've had. If not, I'll get off my soap box now =).

IMO, the amount of texting you do really doesn't matter. It's the substance of the text that does. If most of your text are just witty banter, or you trying to get to know her over text, I.e. shit you can be and should be doing in person, then you're texting wrong. Until you've slept together, texting should be used minimally, and mostly for logistics. The way I keep my text game solid is to text the way I would if I had a crazy jealous girlfriend.

You have to build rapport, I hope I spelled that right. What I mean is, the girl has to remember you for the good things.

Sure, she might have given off some IOI's, and that's good. However, have you actually done stuff? Doing a nice activity, making out or fucking?

If not, the you are just one of the newly added numbers in the girl's phone of this week. Numerous guys are texting her while you do, and you have basically nothing really to stand out with. Also, the longer you text without actually meeting, the more the actual connection degrades.

I limit my texting almost entirely to making plans, but I still seem to get flakes even from girls who seemed very into me after the first date. Although my current date spot admittedly doesn't allow for much kino, it feels like we're having good conversation with a decent level of flirtiness and intimacy.

Should I be waiting longer to try to make a 2nd date? I generally wait about 2~ days. I'll usually get a "I'm busy that day but how about later in the week?" which sucks for me because my weekends are super busy.

There's your problem. Stop trying to have full blown conversations through text. Keep them short and clever. Save the meat of conversation for when you're in person. It's not a bad thing not to reply to all their texts either. If it's true that you can seduce in person but once you text she loses interest, you're somehow coming off as needy.
