Part of what makes Models great is that he doesn't sugarcoat any of the help he gives you. All of it is raw and real and what will work. It's easy to simply suggest to someone "Be a bit more vulnerable and put yourself out there, y'know, don't be needy," but it's another thing to tell them what doing those things looks like and what's involved in getting to that point. That includes telling you how much some/most/all of this self-improvement will suck. He doesn't give you any shortcuts or easy ways out, he just tells you "Go through some shit and you'll be a better person for it." Granted, he does offer suggestions and ideas for basic improvement (dressing better, working out, etc.), but for the major stuff, there's no easy solution. It's just a matter of being honest and real in the name of improving yourself. The ideas in his book are technically "simple", but they're not all easy to accept and achieve, and making you aware of that is part of its charm.

The vulnerable bit is a bit confusing.

A lot of people think it means telling something sensitive to a girl and expecting you to like her. What it actually is is sticking to your values, being true to yourself and OPENLY communicating just the way you are straight to the girl. Then you let her do whatever she wants with that information - she can laugh, shit-talk you, lose attraction etc.

But you accept yourself the way you are so you really do not care at all. You don't need her or anybody elses approval to exist.

If she rejects you based on who you really are, it means she wasn't a good match for you anyway. The rejection itself doesn't make you feel worse because you know you deserve to love yourself and accept yourself just the way you are. The way that woman defined you, didn't define you at all because you have a strong, indestructible self-image of yourself. It depends entirely on your own thoughts and opinions. You don't try to build your identity based on what other people tell you you are. There's 7 billion people on this planet and everybody would think something different about you. Women don't want somebody who doesn't know who they are, somebody who bends over to other people. They want someone who can be openly vulnerable, who will let other people criticize him and attack him openly without flinching. That's what vulnerability is. It doesn't mean weakness, in this context it actually means strength.

I've found that I can hear the exact same advice presented in slightly different ways, and for some reason one of those ways really hits me and motivates me to take action while the other can literally have the effect that whatever you read had on you (the "what is this? It's the same thing I hear everywhere..." feeling). Different folks need slightly different strokes for the same effect.

There is a huge section of the book that no one does and everyone forgets about. And it's probably the part that matters most. Developing your lifestyle. So you have an interesting life, making you more interesting objectively and conversationally (if you are interested you will be more interested. And if you have things going on you will have more content to talk about) having an attractive lifestyle makes you more attractive. And it will bring you into contact with more girls.

there is this whole part about finding finding you seenand becoming established in it. He says if you are an artist and like art chicks, go to all the art shows meet people and girls, then volunteer in an art show and meet the people who put it in, then host art event. You know the community so you will be able to put the even on. At your event you will be in a position of athority and will have offered value so then meeting girls at your event should be even easer.

He also says to do things like push pull, and gives advice on making better connections. Talk about how somethings made you feel or made a girl feel. And he talked about asking dapper questions

When you read is blog you get a sense that he isn't into hooking up, he likes to fledge really deep connection (it may be for just a fling but still )

Hey delux_bg,

It's interesting that you posed this question. For some reason, we as men have allowed ourselves to believe that in order to date women, we must learn this completely complex set of rules, behaviours and codes.

But the truth is, men have dated women before PUA/seduction was even a thing. And men can continue to date women even without being involved with it.

I believe that pua/seduction is meant to give some guidance to men about dating, relationships, and self-improvement. It's okay to ask for help on areas of your life that you need help on. It is not a magic key that unlocks some secret not before seen by mankind.

So yes, I believe it is that simple.

Ignoring all the details on how to do stuff, that's the gist of it. Some of the how to could be spelled out better but...

The whole be vulnerable and sharing yourself is gold IMO. If you've spent a decade using canned lines or performance behaviors or whatever the hell they call it now, shifting to just putting yourself out there and seeing it work is actually pretty amazing
