I found myself in a situation I feel like we have all been in before. Girl matched with on tinder she initiated message then went full dry on me. I followed her insta brought the conversation back a bit but felt a lot of resistance from her end. Kept playing it cool until I asked her out with a specific time and date and she said yes.

I’m a day out before the date and I msg her again to just say I’ll see you tomorrow btw here’s my number if ya need to reach me.

She gives me a very dry response and hasn’t even texted my number

This girl has been difficult to say the least and my head is spinning trying to figure it out and worrying about what’s going on.

Then kind of like a flash I remember the most simple thing. “I go on dates to have fun”

And that’s it. She said yes to the date. If it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. I’m not on a date to work for someone else or keep them interested , im there to have fun and hopefully, they have fun as well and we connect.

So there’s no reason to get so worried and caught up.

It’s super simple and Yet it’s something I think we forget a lot. Guys and girls. That we’re dating to have fun and enjoy ourselves. If we’re not then what’s the point?

I felt like an idiot for a good second but now I’m excited instead of worried. I’m actually interested in seeing what a date with a really hard to read girl is like !! I’ve reworked my frame of mind and I feel better for it.

So idk who needs to hear this. But have fun on your dates :) that’s what they’re all about.
