If you haven't answered yet, ask her "Wait, why? Is it gonna be a double date?"

If it was actually implied it was a date, and she's playing dumb asking things like, "oh was this a date?". Just be like "Yeah, I thought it was, guess I got the wrong idea. My bad, let's cancel on this."

Don't say anymore, don't say any less. If you guys were friends, just play it casual, don't give her any special attention.

All in all, it's probably already lost, the only thing you can do now is not fuck up your future opportunities.

It's not neccessarily game-over, but it's gonna be awkward recovering from this.

Next time/girl keep this in mind: You make it clear that you set-up a meetup for a reason. Namely: you are a man, who likes this woman and you want to go out with her to get to know her more. There is no 3rd wheel in this scenario, and if she insists bringing a friend, she is super-dumb or not into you at all.

It is basicaly a rejection letter and the relationship is over.

Unless you do these two things.

1) Rudly reply with somethink like. "Why the hell do we need someone else to come, this is a (fvking) date."

2) if she says ok, I am sorry than go on the date and enjoy.

3) If she doesnt reply or says some bullshit. Than ignore her. Go out with you other options or do somethink fun. Make sure she knows about it ;). In this case you can text her few weeks later and tell her that you want to see her, or she will apologizes and text you first (make sure to set up date ASAP)

I think you need to not treat it as a game over and playfully word your intentions with her so she gets the idea. Ease her into the date cause nervousness happens to girls, and it’s not your fault. But I bet you if you playfully text her about it then she’ll ease in and it’ll go easy. Sometimes it’s just inexperience and nervousness that plays a role in dating.

I think you just weren't clear about your intention to hang out solo. It's a fair question from her. Maybe she likes you and this was her roundabout way of trying to confirm if it's actually a date or not.

Dude, don’t ever assume a date is implied. That’s weak behavior. It’s either a date or it’s not, and she should 100% know which one it is as soon as you ask her out.

It sounds to me like she’s trying to get her friend set up, regardless of how she feels about you guys. Be careful how over the top you react to this, for all you know her friend could be hounding her to play matchmaker.
