Dude this is actually almost exactly what I'm working on... I used to be shy andv talk very little, so i got a job bar tending and learned to respond quickly to almost anything, the problem now is that i auto respond before i think about it, so only after I've already said something do i think of something witty that i should of said instead, or at least to push the convo in a direction that i wanted. I've been consciously pausing after i get a response to give my mind a sec to process but the habit of responding instantly is proving hard to break.
