You might already know this, but even if you do, i doubt you've used it every single time. So this reminder will be essential.

Before I get on the actual way to do it, one habit you want to kill is to stop looking down. ESPECIALLY after making eye contact with someone. If you look down you're accessing your emotions, in other words you're uncomfortable meeting their eye, for whatever reason. It is a sign of submission. However, some people look down because they are used to it, so even if you ARE comfortable meeting their eye, you might still look down due to it being your habit. So you want to kill this habit off.

Now there are 2 ways to break the eye contact.

1. 'You have no power here' method:

So Mark made eye contact with Jenny, he decided not to look down because he remembered reading my posts, so he looks slightly upwards instead. Jenny feels shy and decides to look away.

This is the approach i always take : Look UPWARDS. This does not mean that you look at the sky, you just slightly move your eyes from their eyes to their forehead or hair or over their head. Doing this will not communicate that you are interested, instead it sends the message that you are more dominating, which the alpha male should be. So break the eye contact this way and the message you should be sending is "you're not on my level, I have more power here". Of course, you want to apply the effects of this move to the situation ie if youre in a mall and a guy makes eye contact with you and you do this , then the message you project is what i said above. However if youre close to a girl (holding her) and youre making deep eye contact and you decide the break it by looking a bit upwards, then the message you are communicating in that instance is "I know what iam doing, iam comfortable where iam".

2. 'We're cool' method:

Mark notices Jenny in the mall again another day, this time they made eye contact again and to break it this time he remembered my posts and made a neutral break by looking side ways.

'Looking to the side is a neutral eye contact break. If a woman looks to the side after you lock eyes with her, it means her attention is turning elsewhere. If you are the one breaking eye contact with someone else, this is almost always the best way to do it. Be sure not to overdo, however – overdoing this may show a lack of interest. Simply know that if you need to break eye contact, this is how to do it.'

Use both methods, and see what works for you. I personally use the first one.
