I do hate the double standard but for guys having great photos is essential if you want to get matches. If you fill all 9 slots and have up to 3 good group pics and 6 pics of just you doing something you will get loads more matches. I know you can get away with less but if you attach your instagram you essentially giving them far more.

The trick is usually good quality photos of you doing something from eating an ice cream at the beach to a hobby like rock climbing or skateboarding even if they can't see your face in every photo. Your profile needs to say I'm fun and not I am totally self-absorbed and only take topless photos or really bad selfies.

yes i am well aware it makes a difference. I don't have any good pics and my tinder game is trash. If I go out in public though, not even for a night time event or anything, just walking around or running errands, usually i get a good number of looks and tons of nervous girls walking by. If I told any them I have bad tinder game they'd probably find it unbelievable (actually was the case when I met a friend's gf and she's like "oh you must have tons of matches on tinder")

As a female and many of my girl ' friends agree that are on dating apps... don't mind the group photos BUT blur your friends faces. ONE - some friends may not want their pic on a dating website for the world to see. I'd be pissed if my friend did that especially with the job I have. TWO- it's annoying as fk swiping back and forth trying to figure out which one is really you. THIRD - Any pic with just you and a girl with her face sharpie'd over is suspect and I won't even wait for an explanation. I'll just move on.

Gym - limit to 1 or 2 Adventure - limit to 2-4 Full length - mirror or not minimum of 2 Selfie is fine 7+ photos scream desperation to me. Leave a little to my imagination.

Casual Pics are my favorite to look at because you're not overly happy like you are on adventure/vacation pics. Gym obviously you're not sweaty all the time. Casual such as around town, on your couch, at a park, coffee shop etc. That's the true everyday you! - POV from a Girl

I have a friend that's a professional photographer. Sometime this month I'm going to make an appointment with him to have a photo shoot done in which I'm going to be wearing different outfits: athletic, casual, business dress, sporty, etc. I will use the professional one for my professional profile. The other ones I will use on some other sites.

You should not show to much effort..you're you.. Is hard to mimic fun in the midst of this pandemic.. Lots of girls assume just way to much..
