Dale Carnegie: "People love their name more than all the names in the world combined."

People love their name. It is a core part of their identity. With their name they introduce themselves and live their lives.

Understand this and you understand that people love when their name is spoken. They revel in it. Therefore, I use a girl's name as often as I can when interacting with her.

When I first meet them and they give me their name I smile and repeat it back to them. When the conversation is over I say something along the lines of "it was nice to meet you (name)".

When I text them my first text is always along the lines of "It's the beautiful (name)!". Instead of texting "hey just confirming we are on for tomorrow I text "hey (name) just confirming we are on for tomorrow".

Saying their name is a small trick that goes a long way. People love their name being spoken and in text. Use this to your advantage by using their name whenever the opportunity arises.
