Well usually compliment are great when you don't know the girl and will never see her again but you can come across as too forward killing the mystery if give compliment to your colleague or friend.

Just try to talk to any women longer than 2min and she'll assume interest from your part, usually at this point from my experiences they will tell you if you are trying to communicate something deeper to her or it might not happen like that.

Touching are a big no no if you just met the girl unless you touching her in socially acceptable manner which is the hand shake and if you are in bar or club then break the touch barrier as soon as possible which is between 5 to 10min if she is responding well to you.

Practice being funny with people you aren’t into. After a while, it comes naturally. I’m no lady killer by any stretch but I’ve had a lot of success this way.

Just tell her she looks really good at the beginning of the conversation…. or if there is something specific you like about her appearance say that… Don’t overly compliment though just let her know you think she’s hot near the beginning then talk to her as if the outcome of the interaction doesn’t matter to you at all.

Hmmm I consider myself to be picky when choosing someone for the long run but I don't really care about looks or interaction when it comes to a quick hit and gap. I am more of a just be yourself and see what goes from there type of girl.

I honestly personally can't see myself being attracted to 'Nice Guys!' or the ones who only give compliments because at the end of the day. You come off as fake to me and it's really unattractive, so I would put those ones in the friend zone box. Dudes who are straight up and confident in themselves and aren't afraid to be honest even if it might somewhat affect me and still be chill about it are the ones I put in the Interested box. You know the saying "Treat them mean, keeps them keen" sort of on that line.

When it comes to you being friends already but you want to take it to the next level, You should really get her attention first before putting your cards on the table. Like make some small jokes about sex yet still keep the mood casual without making it awkward. Make yourself easy to talk to about that kind of subject and you have no worries trying to get the message across. Just don't push too much and if she isn't showing signs she is interested then move on.

But that's just me. I rather the mood be casual in order for an attraction to grow.
