You could have made some mistakes too. So it's good to reflect. Like your date was... watching UFC.. This seems like it was 100% your plan. And she had no part in that plan. Right? Think about how you can get her invested in the plan. Get her input. If she contributed to the plan, she's more likely to show up for the plan.

But like, watching UFC is a very bad date idea UNLESS she is like a hardcore MMA fan (which would be unusual but OK, it could happen). In general: Make it more female-friendly.

If you had plans with a girl and she straight up just stood you up, you should not be answering her texts. You are giving her attention and validation and she is not even giving you the basic courtesy of showing up to a date.

That said, when she said "A girl friend" you should have said, "Yes, a girl I'm banging" because fuck her.

I understand life can happen. But if a woman that agreed to go on a date says she ended up having other plans, she is so out she won't even register what happened.

It is generally a dick move, imagine your friend agreeing to grab a beer with you, then saying that he's going with other friend. It's a no.

Honestly, replying after she stood you up or left you on read for the date wasn't really necessary.

My advice? Don't send anything else right now. Leave the message alone, go back to your normal routine, keep doing your own thing, and if you want, date other people.

The fact that she made plans to meet before does show there was some level of attraction or interest, but clearly not enough.

Give it a few days or even a couple of weeks. If you happen to make a plan and feel like she fits into it, invite her again.

If you don't feel like it's worth the effort anymore, just keep moving forward.

The only acceptable text I'd respond to would be an actual apology w a reason and a suggestion for a new time to meet.

If she replies anything after this, just set a time to do the deed and just use her for keeping your confidence up while you find someone actually worth your time.

Once you find someone, do make sure you don't get attached to this one.

You're reading way too far into this. I wouldn't even call it an interesting question from her. If you want to keep talking to her tell her who you went with and that it was super fun, too bad she didn't make it. Then shift gears and invited to something else

Or don't talk to her. Whatever. She's not super reliable so either way I would keep pursuing whatever options you have besides her
