Should I date or focus on finishing my education?

I love my girlfriend (thanks Seddit) but I miss being single. I feel as though when I started the relationship I lost focus on "me" things (diet/nutrition, physical self-improvement, mental self-improvement, confidence) and became complacent. Anyone experience this?

Can I go back in to "me mode" without breaking up with her or is it easier to focus on yourself outside of a relationship?

Where does real confidence stem from? Ive heard the term fake it till you make it and I've mastered it. But over the summer my friend threw a bunch of parties and a lot of girls were attracted to me(i didn't make a move because I'm a virgin and a nervous wreck) but at that time talking just became so natural to me, i could talk to anyone about anything.

Simple but specific q here: Been seeing a girl for a few weeks... she asked me what I was doing today a few days ago. Do you think she wants to hang out? The only reason I ask is because the last time we chilled I got the vibe she wasn't feeling it. Previous date was dinner with friends, Sunday. I met a girl some few weeks ago. I got her number and since then we have been talking a lot through fb/wpp/texts.

She always initiates conversations, but when i would tell her that i want to date, she just said: ''well see :)''

I didnt push it too hard, because i didnt want to seem needy or something like that.

I tried to ask her out in another way: We were talking about our first impressions when we met.

She said that she remembers me as a very educated and tall guy. After that i told her how beautiful here eyes were when i saw her for the first time.

Inmidiately after that, i said that i wanted to see those eyes again and she accepted by saying: '' Yea, lets do it :)''

I wanted to take her to some starbucks so we can talk and know eachother a little bit more. But she told me first that she wanted to go to the movies.

Does she want to go for the make out that quickly? Im no expert (thats why im asking this) but this reminded me of a similiar situation when i wen to the movies on the first date.

That day i ended up making out hard with the girl and sucking her tits while she maturbated me. The thought of something similar happening again really makes me interested on going to the movies with her.

I've been taking notice of this girl at school. Today I was standing right next to her at my locker and she walked past me and rubbed her arm on my arm pretty heavily and no there was only a few people around us. Secondly, she started small talk at the lockers (her's is right net to mine). And thirdly, as class was ending my friends trapped me in a corner as a joke and the teacher asked what they were doing and she said (trapping (my name) in the corner. So, I talked with this girl last night who's 9th grade (I'm 10th grade) over facebook.
Short backstory: when I passed by her at school, we used to give strong eye contact every time, and then she added me on facebook and next time she saw me, I smiled and she waved to me

Was sleeping (cuddling, no sex) with this chick in the Fall frequently after she broke up with her long-distance BF.

Ended it afterwards, fast-forward to now. We're basically best friends. We argue frequently enough that it doesn't mean anything because we know each other so well. Everything either thought we were dating or that I should ask her out ASAP. So I went ahead and tried to break the friend zone with about 10 days of doing things I wouldn't do for a friend and making it obvious how well I know her. I asked her out, she basically rejected saying that she isn't ready for an emotional connection right now (after her 2 long-time relationships imploding). I believe her, she's told others that too, and we're still close. She mentioned that she might be ready in the Spring. Lately we've gotten so close that we both feel like we have obligations to the other and know each other's personalities and life crazy well, especially considering it's only been since September on-and-off communicating.

I'm glad I just asked her out because I wouldn't want to regret it later. Now, I'm more interested in continuing onto other women. My question is, however, how do I do so without closing her out of the picture? Out of all the chicks I've met, she's been the only one I've wanted to date but I know that's just falling into Oneitis. I'm fine with exploring other women, just want to do so without throwing any chance I had with her away.

I have some questions: 1) How do I know how "real" is my confidence? When I think myself approaching people I don't fear rejection and I believe I could actually attract girls, but I fear that once I actually start speaking I'll find myself not being half as confident as I believe (being somebody who tends to speak very fast and stutters a lot because of that, that seems a reasonable concern). How do I fix that? 2) For the most of my life, I've been living my daily life thinking in a very rational way. I don't mean that I'm an emotionless robot, but I always tend to analyze what happens to me, I do it very often, as it seems -to me- the most natural thing in the world. But this skill (because I believe that this is a quality, indeed) crippled my "social intelligence", if you know what I mean. I find very difficult starting conversations with both strangers and girls I'd like to approach because I often find myself be at loss of things to say, and when I do the conversation would end very fast. I don't have this problem with my friends, as I know them well, and I know of what I could speak about with them. This is my problem: how do I free myself of this crutch? 3) I indeed get the whole "there are many fishes in the sea" concept but I have an essential problem with, well, getting in the sea. I'm picky with things I enjoy: I hate discos (and getting drunk is very stupid IMO), parties are boring (and since I don't have a great number of friends, parties are quite rare as well) and what I love doing doesn't get me going out very much: I love reading (my concentration is horrible, reading at the library would be counterproductive) and I love and play music. Now, one would say: "you love music, then go to concerts you idiot!" Well, I'm quite picky with music as well, the bands I love never pass by my city (despite it being the fucking capital,ffs) and the music I listen to is quite male-oriented (prog and metal). How the fuck do I meet more girls?

I've been talking to this girl in my English class and we've gotten together to do one of the homework assignments and I feel that we had good rapport. We greet each other everyday in class now and talk for a good bit before it starts, laughing and joking.

Anyway, I was trying to invite her to go to chicfila, not a date but just a getting to know you hangout thing since we haven't really gotten to know each other outside of the classroom environment and I'm going to ask her to a military ball anyway, probably next week.

She declined because she said one of her friends from home was coming down tonight to visit and she was waiting. Then I asked what her day looked like tomorrow with no reply.

I'm not really fretting or worried about it since I feel like we're friendly enough in class that she doesn't think I'm a creep but is it normal to feel a little insecure when someone doesn't reply to a text. I was trying to see if she would be interested in going rock climbing but I feel like I'm just going to leave it be until I see her again next class period. Is this a good idea or do you think I should take a different course of action here
