If the age of consent was lowered to 16 everywhere, men would want it to be 13 instead. After that, they'll want it to be abolished. Prove me wrong. Guys who vehemently defend sex with people who have undeveloped brains (and a guy once tried to convince me that this scientific evidence was purely opinion by the way!) and little to no life experience do so because they 1. Won't accept that they're no longer children. 2. Are pedophiles who won't admit it, and hide behind socially acceptable interest in teenagers, and/or 3. know that women their own ages won't touch them with a sixty foot long pole and want to go for young girls with low self esteem who are easily manipulated and/or might not know any better.

Let's flip this. I'm 52. I the past few years I've gone on dates with a handful of guys in their late 20's and early 30's - at their insistence. They claim "age is just a number." So, OK little man, I'll give you chance, show me what you've got. Lol

While these guys were nice looking and amusing to a point, they were CHILDREN compared to me. They had very little life experience, few accomplishments and no interesting hobbies. They bored me. So apart from their physical attractiveness they brought very little to the table so to speak.

Even though men my age might not look very good to a young woman, to me, a fit man who is 50ish is actually the most attractive. My fantasy husband looks wise would be Idris Elba. That is the most appealing age to me.

oh boyy. idk what girls he is talking about, when I was 18 girls liked guys their own age, maybe 1-3 years older and 3 years was pushing it. I specifically was with someone 6 years older when I was 19 and there was a difference, but I was one out of my group, the rest of them liked the same age. Women are like that especially into their 20's. Does this guy care about how these girls see him tho?? When I was 18, 26 was old! 40 was ancient. The way I see it, if I’m doing something and I have to use the defense “Yeah, but it’s legal” then I’m probably doing something wrong and should not be doing it.

We all should realize by now that just because something is legal, does not make it good. And just because something is illegal, does not make it bad. Weed was illegal at a point, but it wasn’t bad. Marrying a 12 year old was legal at one point, and it wasn’t good.
