It really doesn't matter. A lot of them will cheat, but some won't... but what they all will do is find their own personal shitty way to disrespect and harm their SO. There are many paths they can take, but the end destination is the same. Stay far away.

Yes. I know my experience probably isn’t typical but my ex’s obsession with porn went from interacting with porngirls on social media and gaslighting me about it, until it escalated into him actually filming with some of them, when I found out I left. But desensitization is very real.

He told me when I was leaving he got to the point he was watching it on mute in bed next to me in the morning while I was still sleeping.

Someone with this addiction will get to the point that they don’t respect boundaries.

It's highly likely, yes. If you treat women like objects, you see women as consumables. A man who sees women as consumable objects will not have the empathy, self control, or emotional maturity to not be unfaithful.

If he's willing to slither around you to secretly masterbate to images of women that aren't you, why would cheating be out of the realm of possibility? You're already OK with lusting after other women and sneaking around to do it. Cheating and porn use exhibit the same behaviors and the same habits: Lust, secrecy, escalation.

I consider consuming porn to be cheating, so really, the answer is already yes in my mind.

This is an oxymoron sis. By definition watching porn, (watching other women have sex, fantasizing about them, wanking, not thinking of your SO, dreaming about other women, following other women and liking their pics) is cheating. Porn is cheating. Infidelity of the mind is real. Doesn’t matter if he hasn’t physically had sex with anyone, he’s not truly loyal to one woman. The moment they make a choice to stray mentally it’s over. Why would you want to be with someone like that? Mature people have enough self-discipline and self-control to be faithful in all aspects. From not talking shit about you behind your back to not leering at other women or fantasizing about them. Even biology scholars will tell you, evolutionarily there may be a little bit of truth to the “spread your seed” thing, but at the same time they will tell you humans have a choice to do what’s right, have empathy, and should be able to make decisions like sticking to their commitments, considering how their actions affect others and being self disciplined. When LVM reduce themselves to being slaves to their genitals it really is embarrassing.

I mean they are already LVM by definition, whom every woman should avoid at all costs and/or dump as soon as possible. Does it really matter if they are "destined" to cheat or will "go on to" cheat? They're already unredeemable, why stick around long enough to find out if they're also cheaters? Is it somehow more acceptable if they just stay at home staring at porn and haven't (yet) engaged with an affair partner in person yet?

Also, a lot of people already consider porn use to be a form of cheating.

Anyway I don't really understand the point of your question.

I think they are more likely to if they watch porn, and actually studies have shown this. But also, porn is considered cheating in many peoples hearts and souls. We’ve just been gaslit by society into accepting it, especially as women. But I hope more women keep standing up for themselves and keep saying no to any form of cheating - including porn.

I only realised I could be opposed to porn when I saw therapist after therapist after therapist, who all were shocked to see I accepted it in my relationship. I went because I was “jealous and insecure” in my relationship. And each one of them said “well, no wonder. Anyone would be if their partner was watching porn or looking at other people.” It literally took me three therapists to undo the societal mind control. Because I just brushed the first one away “oh she’s just old fashioned”, the second “oh she doesn’t really get it.” And finally with the third I asked questions and I listened. And I broke down and realiSed finally that I deserved to be the man’s fantasy woman! And nothing less. And even a fourth more recently also talked about setting boundaries about no cheating and bought up porn herself - and she was quite liberal in her views about porn.

So anyway, to answer your question - Yes, studies have show porn use escalates, and once it’s an addiction (btw it’s an addiction if they can’t stop - which is most porn users to be honest), and it increased in severity, including acting out in real life.

Yes! I dated a guy who was totally addicted to lesbian barely legal porn. I was trying so hard to be the "cool girl" I was like, well, at least hes not having sex with other people...lol I was such a sweet summer child, because of course he was.
