Girl it's the same in the US. I think they just get away with it. So many women just want any mans attention so bad that quality stops mattering.

I was thinking this on the weekend.

I was at a bar and this 10/10 IG baddie walks in. Like it must have taken her hours to do her hair and makeup and get her outfit just right. And then I notice this greasy looking loser walk in in a hoodie, shorts and flips flops. Lookin like hadn’t showered in a week. And it’s the baddie’s boyfriend!

And then I looked around the bar and there are loads of gorgeous women. Like seriously attractive. And then like 99% of the men were nasty-ass gamer types.

I go to the gym a lot and you would think I would see a lot of fit, attractive men there but nope. They all got those scraggly ass beards, bad teeth, smell like they haven’t showered in a week. Talk constantly about drugs and alcohol.

Because they don't have to try when the world tells them even if they have nothing to offer they are still entitled to an attractive, young submissive virgin who will cook, clean and raise children and also be 100% loyal but okay with his cheating ways. Why should a man bother about trivial things like brushing his teeth or washing his ass or maintaining his health when the world tells him he doesn't have to try?

I just started noticing this recently. I've seen 1 hot guy in about three weeks of working in a public place. Tons of scruffy or fat or slobby or otherwise unappealing options, though. And yeah, I see a LOT of beautiful women

I literally refuse to date or marry any of them. I dont care what happens, I will not marry them. I dont want to deal with their disgusting habits.

When Im older I will live by myself, with lots of beautiful plants, and a cat. I'll have cool (female obv) friends that I will go on adventures with. I'll adopt a daughter when I want to and feel ready to. Done :)

Their peers do not hold them to the standards of basic hygiene and some even clown others for doing so.

My bf got clowned one time for showering, brushing his teeth and ironing his shirt before he went out. He was a few minutes behind and when he told them why he was late, they compared it to being girly...He followed the bare minimum of self-care and he was made fun of for it.

That is why my bf is handsome and no longer hangs out with those ugly and single scrotes.

It is ridiculous - with OLD I would have to sift through so many men just to find one who was even reasonably good looking. At one point I even almost settled for someone I didn't find physically attractive just because he ticked pretty much every other box. Thankfully I realised quickly that it wasn't fair to either of us for me to settle. Although physical attraction isn't the only thing, it does have to be there.

With my now-boyfriend, I'm so glad to have found someone who actually takes care of his appearance! He showers at least once a day (more if he's been for a run or got sweaty/dirty), cleans his teeth, even deals with his mono-brow...! (And many more things besides, which really should just be the basic elements of human living) The fact that he cares about his appearance makes him even more attractive, self-care doesn't make him less masculine.

I've thought about that too, recently. It only gets worse the older you get... at this stage, I'm not sure I'd even bother to look for a man around my age (mid 30s) as the majority just look awful, bad grooming and no effort when it comes to clothes. At least the younger guys are still mostly beer-belly free!

There are studies that show that women get progressively more attractive throughout the generations, so women today are on average better looking than their mothers and grandmas. Whereas the reverse is true of men, they are getting uglier according to science.

Also there is a study that more attractive and fit parents are more likely to have daughters, and one explanation is that beauty is evolutionarily more advantageous to females, so your DNA is kinda like “I have all these pretty genes so I’ll get more bang for my buck if I express them in female offspring, better not waste them on a male zygote” or something. Also fitter and more athletic men have a higher basal body temperature, and Y chromosome sperm needs cooler temperatures to survive. So when men get super fit a byproduct of this is that they start killing off Y chromosome sperm.

I read once that men who are considered very attractive have more 'feminine' features to their faces - smooth skin, clear, wide eyes, high brow line, small nose, full lips, thick hair. I don't know if that's true across the board, everyone has their preferences, but for me it's definitely true. Men who are regarded as being very handsome (Jason Momoa, Chris Evans, etc etc) can show the traits above, for what it's worth. So I think this may be why on the whole men are much uglier than women, because of the ravages of testosterone.
