Misogyny isn’t going anywhere.

I use to be one of those Lib-Fem girls myself. Which is why I was so glad to have found this sub, because it really opened my eyes. I use to think that if us women want equal, then we have to make sure men get equal as well. Then I found this sub and I started thinking. Isn’t that what we have been doing all along? We always have to “think of the men” if we are asking for basic human respect. No, fuck that. We don’t have to think of the men. We are tired, and we are done.

But that brings me to what this post is about. Because I use to like to believe that men were getting better. I was seeing men at women’s rally’s, wearing feminist T-shirts’ and holding signs, and thinking maybe things were getting better. But they are not. I don’t think things will be get better for a very long time.

My husband sent me a funny TikTok video, the video of a women joking about men who work too much. It stated “Everyone wants a hard working man, until : His nice clothes become work clothes. You are always washing his clothes. He’s always at work. He’s always tired.” She didn’t say anything about herself personally, yet all the negative commenters assumed she didn’t work. Even if she didn’t work, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t work everyday while being a stay home spouse. But her best friend had to come on and tell people she was a full time Nurse.

“I bet his debit card is your best friend though.”

“Except you bought those nice clothes with his money, so he really bought his own clothes.”

“But they don’t complain about the money, shopping trips, nails, hair, and vacations do they.”

“You already sound like the laziest person on this app.”

“We are already stressed from working all day, wearing a mask all day, sitting in traffic, just to make the family better. So we are tired! Thanks a lot!”

“I mean you’re more than welcome to work, so he doesn’t have to work so hard.”

“He wouldn’t be always working or tired if you worked too! 😭 No hate tho.” ( From a women.)

“We go to work early to provide for our women, the least y’all can do is help 🤷🏻‍♀️.”

“Yeah I wonder who brings all the money in, quit complaining and do your job.”

“Haha! I was broken up with for working 7 days a week and called controlling, but in the end I just have more money.”

“Is washing clothes and cooking too much of him to ask of you? Like holy shit. I cannot fathom women these days.”

“Let me guess, you ain’t a hard working women lol.”

“This is the reason I chose not to get married, and the fact my assets would be massacred during a divorce by women like this.”

“They want a hard working man, but when they get one they can’t handle it and cheat while the man is out busting his ass. Females really ain’t shit.”

“So cheat on him like all you bitches do.”

I really could have went going with these comments. But I’ll stop there. I was hoping to find an equal amount of men defending her, but while going through them I only came across 2 who told everyone it’s a joke and to stop being an asshole to her. ( So when we say MOST MEN are vile, there’s our point. )

This video you could also tell was a joke clearly about the funny downsides of a hard working man, and yet so many took such offense to it being crybabies and crying like the scrotes they are. I mean how DARE a women jokingly complain about washing laundry for her husband, right? She should consider herself lucky to be able to do his laundry and stop bitching according to them. They are SO SENSITIVE. I never want to hear again that women are sensitive. We come across this shit on an hourly basis, much worse actually, and we roll our eyes and move on. But if a man feels slighted even a little, they will flip the fuck out. I call them “Sensitive Stephens.”

It’s days like today where I read comment threads like that and it all puts things in perspective and reminds me that we aren’t even close to being equal and respected yet. According to them, we are all gold diggers that want his money, but if we complain that we would rather have more time with him than money, we are called ungrateful little bitches who will cheat eventually who just want bums.

I added a few of my own comments and left the video. I was genuinely upset for the poster, she was still being attacked despite the video being posted days ago, and they were calling her ugly and telling her she looked funny. All over a joke. Men suck. That’s all.
