There are a lot of things you can "chase" in life. You can "chase" an award, a job promotion, or some other special type of achievement. The worse thing for a woman to chase may as well be a man's love.

LVM will not respect women who chase them. They view women with a madonna-whore complex and will label any woman who chases them as a "whore". As for HVM, they will make the effort to chase a woman if he truly likes her. If he's not chasing you, he's not into you so chasing him is pointless.

Some women feel really upset when they come across a guy they really like and then discover he is taken, thinking things may have been different if they met the guy before his SO. Don't view the guy like that. If what you were chasing is an Olympic gold medal, then maybe it would make sense to feel sad if you were "slower" than the winner by 0.1 seconds but this guy ain't an Olympic medal. He'a a human being just like you and there's no reason why you should put him on a pedestal.
