Go to the councilor or principle I almost got a teacher fired for target harassment once. Unless the rot is that deep. Just be very clear about how it's target harassing you and how it's disrespectful to you and inconsistent. Don't bring up sexism or how the girl got special treatment. You know why.

Call out the teacher next time on their sexism & favoritism. Don't hold back, speak up and make your voice heard. I'd also record it.

The school systems is notoriously sexist towards boys. Teachers have been more lenient on girls regarding grading and giving boys lower grades, girls are perceived as better behaved when they really aren't, girls are actively encouraged to go to certain subjects like science whilst boys don't get this extra encouragement amongst other things. Essentially girls get more support whilst boys are left to themselves.

I'd say most teachers are sexist at this point. My daughter sees the sexism against boys, in favor of girls all the time now. My son sees it as well.

In fact, one thing I've noticed is how the sexism can also have a sexuality aspect to it. For instance, teachers seem to believe that if a boy and a girl are holding hands in school, that's wrong, but are totally okay when two girls do this.

If a boy even touches a girl on her shoulder without permission, that's an offense, but if a boy smack another boy on the rear, that's acceptable because (it's just boys being boys) even though if a boy did that to a girl that's big trouble.

Boys and girls being loud in the class, but the teacher tells the boye to be quiet.

I can go on and on. I just tell my kids to remember this behavior from these adults. And protect yourself from the dishonesty. Don't think for a second that these people are going to e fair.

When i was in school girls didnt get punishment harshly as boys for same behaviour like not doing homework

Im sure schools are worse today. The gender imbalance in teaching is worse now.

Thank god I am no longer in school, I have watched what kind of shit progressive, feminist, neoliberal, men hating crap the school that I graduated from has become. Honestly I even feel shame to put that crap into my resume.

What you're saying is valid, but in today's social climate, sometimes it's very hard to discipline certain students because of their parents. The girl who was screwing around on her phone might be a shithead whose parents will make the teacher's life hell if she tells her to stop doing something.

If this were a pattern of behavior with many female students, I'd get it, but with n = 1 it's hard to say.

Document this in writing with a timestamp in a bound notebook. No emotion no interpretation just "Sept 10 at x time Joe, Steve and Stephanie did x but Stephanie did not get in trouble".

Make sure they have the papers so File a few complaints using photo copies of your notebook. Don't expect anything to change.

Get a doctor's note to show damages. So go to a psychologist and tell them about the distress this discrimination causes you.

After about 10 of these complaints and 2 ir 3 psychologist visits... now you have them by the balls. Show a lawyer and you'll see dollar signs show up in their eyes. A few years later you'll win like $10,000 in a settlement.

Young brother, you are doing great. You are learning a valuable lesson. This is how it will always be. For the rest of your life. Women get and give special treatment to each other, men are harder on boys because we want you to be strong. It is, and it isn't discrimination. It just is. Let them have it. The most important thing you can do is learn to live with this reality. Take every situation as it comes. Move past it without feeling. Bigger discrimination is coming your way. Laugh at this one and the next. Prepare yourself for a day when you must defend your life and reputation against the worst allegations you can imagine. On that day, some good people, some of them women, will come to your aide.
