Women who truly desire equality between the sexes almost never identify themselves as "feminists" any longer because it's become a movement of man hating bullshit that fuels victim complexes.
The fact is that in our society women get paid MORE than men when equally educated and with equal experience. As a sex there are issues that women face, as a sex there are issues that men face. Having problems due to your gender is not a uniquely female problem and yet they act like the world is out to get them because they were born with different sexual equipment.
Women have it far better than men in so fucking many ways it's stupid yet they are so convinced that the world is against them that they can't even see that the rights they are claiming they don't have were already won.
The world is far from perfect but these idiots think it's just full of woman hating misogyny when the numbers just don't back up their view at all.

Point of order: being a feminist was never about equality. They didn't jump on that bandwagon till the 50's and 60's and even then they have played lipservice to the buzzword they needed to appropriate so they could legitimize their movement. Look at a list of historical feminist works, and it is outright female superiority from the 1780s on. I can't speak for previous to that as I haven't read any of them, but I'd wager it goes as far back as one could look.

Is there inequality which favors women today? Yes, absolutely. I make broad generalizations about them because there really isn't middle ground. How often do you hear the outspoken "feminists" talk about how they think they are victims but still think that women should get punished the same as men in court, should be required to register for the draft and shouldn't be considered the best parent for the child to live with in the cases of divorce automatically because of gender. They don't seem to have middle ground. The main voices of this movement are pretty unanimous in their belief that the world is out to get them and that men are to blame.
I make a blanket statement because the women who believe in true equality rarely identify as "feminist" any longer in actual studies that have been done which you can very easily find with a quick google search. A huge portion of the population believes in equality of the sexes and that things should be fair and even but doesn't want to be called a feminist because of what that has come to represent.
The true feminist movement already won their battles, the current one isn't attacking inequality, it's attacking "manspreading" and "mansplaining". It's attacking fake statistics like the pay gap which has been disproven so fucking many times that I'm not even gonna bother googling references because i've done it and they are amazingly easy to find.
The "feminist" movement currently happening believes there is a rape culture in a country where the mere ACCUSATION of being a rapist is enough to ruin your fucking life even when you are innocent and there is no proof to back up the woman's claim. If we lived in a rape culture nobody would give a shit. Rape EXISTING doesn't = rape culture.
In short, "Feminism" as it currently exists right now is a bullshit movement filled with angry women who want to blame men and the world for everything that isnt' handed to them that they feel entitled to.
It's a shame when you look back at what true feminists fought for and suffered to accomplish and see what these purple haired tumblrinas have turned a movement of equality and advancement into.
You seem to be very reasonable and level headed and I understand that you are calling yourself a feminist in the GENUINE meaning that it began as. My point wasn't that it started out as a shit show, it was necessary and it accomplished great things for womens rights that needed to happen. My point was that what it started out as and what it is now are nothing alike and that is why people who truly believe in equality of the sexes don't call themselves feminists very often any longer.

Other than the random Incel comment here and there, this is in no way a hate movement.
Mens rights isn't about wanting supremacy over women. It's about actually wanting to see EQUALITY between sexes. I love my wife to death and I'd do anything for her but I still think that there are serious injustices that need to be addressed.
Things like Highschool Boys being molested by their teachers. When it's a girl the teacher is a rapist and a monster. When it's a female teacher it's called a "sordid affair" or some other bullshit figure of speech that avoids calling it the rape that it is.
Women are treated as if they can't be predators and monsters despite the fact that we can find countless examples of them proving they are just as capable of it as men are.
Being a shit human being is not a uniquely male or female trait and we shouldn't protect one sex more than the other. The hypocrisy of a sex that expects deferential treatment but still tells you that they are just as good as men is everywhere.
Are they equal or do they need to be graded on a scale to match up? Equality needs to always be equal, not just when it's convenient or beneficial to women.
That's what MRM means to me. It has nothing to do with hatred. It has to do with genuine equality.

MGTOW addresses a lot of the grievances that feminism has against men. Feminism addresses absolutely no grievances men have against women.
MGTOW advocates for not hitting on women, not "creeping" on them, not seeing women as sex objects. These are all things feminists want men to do.
MGTOWs also recognize and hold responsible the role that their gender contributes in a negative way to the other. Example - how male attention and sexual "thirst" contributes and builds the female ego and entitlement. Feminists have never taken responsibility and objectivity looked at how their own behaviors have contrubuted to the opposite gender in this way.

The amount of hate in people's hearts is so sad to me.
This stuff is just dissolving the whole "can't be racist cause I don't have the power".
When you can get away with celebrating a death because of the deceased person's skin and you are granted platforms to do so with praise, who really has the power? Who has the power to call for genocide? KWho has the power to be interjected into careers they don't deserve because of AA. Who has the power to unilaterally decide to destroy a man's life with a false accusation or aggressive child support claims?
Not white men that's for sure. And other white men uphold these atrocities in every level of government. We don't even have the power to be a homogeneous group (because we're not). I'm not certain what posts like this one are supposed to achieve. In fact, there were so many of those for a while that after it being suggested to me, I went to /r/menslib for a while. I quickly stopped going there after realizing it was a poorly disguised SJW sub (their definition of patriarchy looks like a nazi's definition of international jewry for fuck's sake), but that doesn't make me like low effort, emotional appeal posts like this one any more.
