The Male Imperative?

OK,

I'm going to be disagreeing with RP on this thread about a few things.

First, I agree with the female imperative of RP....But I disagree about the strategic choices women make to pursue this. TRP calls this AF/BB.

So women desire two things

The best genes possible delivered as sperm
A man to provide for the resulting offspring

TRP tends to assume the primary female strategy to do this is to seek each from a different man. AF for the first. BB for the second.

I believe this is actually females secondary strategy (their fallback strategy). Their primary strategy is to seek both from the same man. To find a type of man relationship RP calls AB. A guy with great genes who is also a great provider.

This is a much better strategy for women for a variety of reasons. The problem with it is it is extremely hard to pull off as all the other women want AB too. If only 10% of pop. can be AB.... Then 90% of girls get disappointed.

They can't catch an AB.

So, as they approach the wall, and that "tick-tock" is ringing in their heads as one by one their eggs flow out of them.... Then women switch from pursuing AB, to an AF/BB strategy.

Thats how I see the female imperative.

So.... Now onto the male imperative...

This can be summarized as the following...

Find a woman with good genes, who you have good reason to beleive will be sexually monogamous with you (i.e. a non-slut basically). Secure her in such a way that ONLY your sperm enters her vagina (i.e. in our current culture... Marry and Mate Guard). The children coming out of this vagina are "Legitimate Heirs" you can be as sure as posible they are yours. As excellent genetic bets put all of your resources into making them as big and strong as possible.

Once you have this part of your strategy out of the way and the legitimate heirs are flowing... THEN...

Go out and fuck every woman you can find within a 50 mile radius. The children coming out of these vaginas are "illigetimate heirs". You cannot be sure these are yours, so you do not provision these children. You save all that for the legitimate heirs.

So....

A male gets his genetic maximum from a single woman (10 legitimate heirs, all are his, well provisioned and great bets for having lots of grandkids carrying your genes).

Plus... he gets lots of "fire and forget" genetic packages into the next generation, many of which have his genes. Perhaps another 10 here.

Maximal genetic strategy. Objective acheived! In a video game this would be where all the fireworks start flying and you see the victory screen.

So.... Thats the male imperative... (it can get more complicated in a polygamous society, but I'll leave that for replies if you want to go into it).

Interestingly. This also exposes what a trule monogamous "marriage" is in terms of these genetic strategies.

It's a deal between the female and male imperative.

The greatest threat to the male imperative is that the legitimate heirs he is provisioning are not his, because she's been fucking an AF.

The greatest threat to the female imperative is that *the provisioning male does a flit, meaning all my kids (either his kids or AFs kids) have massively reduced chances of surviving/prospering to have lots of grandkids.

So the sexes do a deal called marriage.

The woman gives up the AF part of AF/BB... She now only has access to AB/BB... The male imperative is safe (providing it's genuine monogamy)....But the female imperative loses the best genes from AF.

The man gives up "illigitimate heirs" part of his strategy... He now only has access to "legitimate heirs"... The female imperative is safe (providing it's genuine monogamy) because he won't do that flit with Miss Slutty-and-23....But the male imperative loses the illigetimate heirs.

It's a deal between the sexes for BOTH to give up the "genetic maximum" ... But by doing so ensure that they both get "very close to maximum results".... And eliminate the downside risks of the other half of the deal pursuing their maximum (at this half's expense).

Are cultures like Saudi Arabia examples of the male imperative in full force?

Yes, this is a total victory for the male imperative. Just as western societies with current divorce laws are a total victory for the female imperative.

Is controlling women's sexuality part of the male imperative?

Yes. We need to control it to get those legitimate heirs central to our optimum strategy AND fallback (monogamy with a wife) strategies. BOTH are entirely reliant on cutting her off from AF.

On the most primal level the female imperative is:

find the most alpha male to impregnate her
find a male that has the resources to support her and her offspring

The male imperative is:

Get as many women pregnant as possible

Obviously today's social/economic/legal conventions have tweaked those on some level.

Our culture of faux-monogamy might have us believing that the male imperative is to guarantee paternity as widely as possible while spending as few resources as possible.

Another possibility, and one that is widely held in non-monogamous cultures, is that the male imperative is to join a substantial and diverse mating group, impregnating women that have also been (and will subsequently be) impregnated by other men, creating a better chance that the offspring will be raised by several different fathers, learning a number of skills and being protected more thoroughly.

Is that so? I spend most of my time surrounded by women in their prime and I don't find most of them to be attractive even tho they are attractive. I have a type. I never was interested in sleeping with every girl I lay my eyes on.

People here are confusing the imperative itself with the best strategy one should adopt in order to fulfill the imperative.

The biological imperative is simple: perpetuate your genes. It's universal and natural.

The male imperative and the female imperative are different because human females get pregnant and breastfeed. That's a lot of investment in each kid.

So the female imperative is to find the best mate possible.

The male imperative is to have as many mates as possible, to spread his genes, because the male investment is minimum.

That's it. The rest is strategy.

I think the feminine imperative is society's tendency to favor women's interests and happiness over men's. So no, there is no male or masculine imperative.

What is the male imperative as told by TRP?

Men have an inborn desire to have sex with as many women as possible. By doing so they increase the likelihood of spreading their genes.

This doesn't mean that all men are cheating sex fiends. But in an imaginary world where hot women would offer sex with no downside consequences (be it needing to commit to get sex or staying loyal to your SO), the vast majority of men would have a lot more sex. See: gay men.

From ages 8 to 30-ish I felt a very powerful urge to find "the one" and settle down. It was so powerful an urge it practically defined my reason for existing. It never happened, though. I never had the urge to screw as many women as possible but for other men this seems to be the case. For me one night stands and FWB situations were more like consolation prizes and over time I have come to half-despise sex altogether. Now I just want to hillbilly it up and knock up anyone/everyone but this is more of a psychological subversion over my past physical urges to make up for my feelings of loss.

edit: since we're speaking of RP, I'm a huge fan of RP because it really explains why it never happened, and offers tools for crafting a better life for myself. Also, the manosphere in general showed me how prevalent misandry is and this has also really helped me understand my situation.
