Most women are responsive sexually. If a man is providing alpha sexual signals, then they will respond.

They are sexual because they want those signals and want to respond.

When ovulating, they get a spike of testosterone and become more sexually aggressive for a few days. They will initiate sex with an alpha more often during that time.

I think you mix things up. They are both correct.

Women are not men. Women are different from men. Period.

What MMSLP says is, that every women has the capability to enjoy all sexual activities that a man likes. There's no gender-specific limitation in what they can enjoy.

What Rollo always says is that they have different triggers, reasons, intentions or what ever you want to call it and different ways to enjoy those things. Plus the intensitity and the reasons change during her lifetime.

Once I was teaching a class and a couple of my students had just come from the Authoritative Women's Action League of Thundercunt Students (AWALTS- that is, they had just come from a Women's Studies course) and proceeded to interrupt my lecture showing the biological effects of Testosterone. They claimed T was a "social construct" and I laughed at them before telling them a story.

In graduate school for my M.S. in Physiology we did the "unknown hormone study." All of the students were given a male and female rat and a bottle of liquid. We injected the rats for 15 days and then weighed and dissected them. We weighed all the organs with the goal of figuring out the hormone we were giving them. I got progesterone as evidenced by the ovarian cysts and the growth pattern.

My lab mate got Testosterone. After just 5 days of injecting the Rats with the "unknown hormone" they became aggressive. First they bit him- HARD. Luckily our class was in a medical school across the street from a hospital so I walked him over to the ER. These things would literally BARK when you opened the cage, snarling, hissing, and growling like a couple of cats. They also nearly doubled in size over that 5 day period and had taken on the look of a well muscled rat! My lab partner could not believe that Testosterone could do that to an animal because we had been taught T was all in the mind. It is just a social construct!

Testosterone is a driving force. It means that you'll have sex with a pile of manure. Women can want sex, but you have to get them in the mood. My understanding is that women have a greater physiological capacity for sex than men do (Being able to handle safe, well lubricated, non abrasive or bruising or rough or anything mildly crazy sex at least daily). Because of that the only thing stopping a monogamous woman from having sex is her inclination not to do it, and the authority of that inclination over her man's desires for much of that time. There is something to her period, there are a few days where she'll be more horny, and days where she just won't. I read a feminist study that proved that prostitutes and strippers can take "advantage" of their menstrual cycle to boost their average monthly income by working around when there PMSing and double booking when there ovulating. But most of the study subjects rejected the data because they thought they were the only snowflake that want affected by pms.

But men have a greater sex drive. They will want sex some where between daily and a few times a week.

Desire and arousal are a LOT more then just testosterone. Just with testosterone, you have bound vs unbound and androgen receptor density. Even estrogen plays a role in desire with both genders. A man with no estrogen has decrease libido. Then you have neurotransmitters, dopamine (stimulatory) and serotonin (mixed effect based on receptor). Adrenal hormones, while stimulating, can provide negative feedback to testosterone. Prolactin has negative feedback with dopamine, which has positive feedback with testosterone.

Despite all of this knowledge, we really don't have a firm grasp of female sexual desire. All prescription medications for low sexual desire in female work primarily on one pathway, and show limited efficacy.
