There's a really attractive girl who sits next to me in my Human Sexuality class. Although she is drop dead gorgeous, she is very shy and doesn't talk to anyone unless they talk to her first, which no one but me does. For the past few classes I have been talking to her and trying to get to know her. Then one day I walked into class and I thought to myself 'Fuck it, I'm going to ask her out.' So we started talking and I said "Tell me if I'm out of line for saying this, but you are really attractive." She smiled shyly and said "Awe, thanks." I saw my opportunity and then said "I know we don't really know each other, but would you like to go out sometime?" She smiled at me and said "Sure."

I really believe that it was my confidence that won her over. You guys were right, having confidence DOES pay off! Thanks Seddit for helping me believe in myself and develop the confidence that ultimately won her over.
