After reading a few articles on here I went to the train station. Immediately I began to notice mothers grabbing their children when I would walk by, making sure to keep an eye on me. Usually at this time, mid morning, most men have taken the express train to the city and therefore the train is primarily mothers with kids and older women.

Nearing the city I notice that the train is getting more and more full of people, and instead of someone trying to sit with me they sit with an older lady or just go to another car.

I am by no means a "bad" looking guy, I'm wearing a blue v-neck and shorts but I can tell that just because I'm a guy they "have to keep an eye on me".

I can't say I haven't noticed it before, but now that I'm paying attention it kind of hurts a bit.

It's gross to assume a male is a predator just because he's a male.
