Sometimes I wonder if the people reporting this stuff are genuinely retarded, and unable to make a rational decision.

Unless there was an enormous amount of information left out of that report, the person who made it and the one who accepted it as a legitimate report are both in need of serious mental help.

i live near uconn. its hilarious how offensively discriminatory towards men the entire campus is. if you aren't a feminist white knight, you're a rapist. any time a feminist group protests something, they get air time on UCTV, and usually get a nice spread in the campus paper. there was a group of men protesting the inequality in the campuses "date rape" policy, among other things. they were counterprotested by feminazis claiming they were rape supporters / rape sympathizers / rape culture supporters, and their (the men's) protest was shut down for disturbing the peace.

it disgusts me how openly misandric people can be without repercussion, because all they have to do is play the sexism card and any dean in the country will side with them in fear of a lawsuit.

edit // for clarification, the date rape policy isn't gender neutral, or atleast wasn't at the time. it specifically said man on woman, with no even hint of the possibility that a woman can be a rapist, or that if both parties are drunk (and can't consent) both are rapists (or neither).

He came within "several feet of her personal space?" Last I heard, personal space was well within several feet.

So this guy said nothing and did nothing to this girl. He even walked in the opposite direction of her when she started to move. Awkward at most, but even bordering creepy? No, and not even a shadow of a threat in reality.

Perhaps he just thought he recognized her as a friend and approached intending to say hi but then realized it wasn't her and went about his way. She obviously read something much more sinister in his actions. But why?

This is the result of nearly thirty years of hysteria concerning a fabricated "rape culture." In this fantastic world all men are potential rapists and if you are a woman you stand a one in four chance of being raped by the time you are twenty two. Very few women in this nightmarish dreamworld ever report that they have been raped for fear of reprisal by the also fantastic and almighty patriarchy that will surely make them pay tenfold for exposing their diabolical hold over all women.

Yes, this all sounds silly to a reasonable person but this perverted ideology has filled the coffers of University Police departments everywhere and payed the salaries for legions of campus rape center administrators who's job it is to "raise awareness" of the impending doom surely awaiting all female students who dare go to school so they can gain financial independence and break free from the patriarchy.

But in reality "raising awareness" is simply code word for raising more money.

The end result is that every college campus in America has become a radical gender feminist theme park in which any woman can simply point her finger at any man and destroy his academic career, his reputation, the reputation of his family, and even his life. The truth is that we live in a False Rape Culture where it is men who can at any time be destroyed simply by an accusation from any woman. Even if they evoke due process or the principle of innocence before proven guilty it will result in his re-destruction.

Feminism has shown itself to be the very fantastic evil creature that it has purported to have slain. We all, and especially men in university, live in an all oppressive matriarchal society in which men are not only less than human, but targeted as agents of Satan himself.

If anyone has ever doubted that our society is loosing its mind this simple police report illustrates it clearly.

Is this a bit absurd? Yes.

Is this from a college campus where they have to report absolutely everything for fear of losing funding? Yes.

Campus cops are not only restrained by their breadth of jurisdiction and lack of holistic authority, they're also forced to put up with the 'all students are someone's child, and all children are special' mentality. Also, money.

I'm not excusing it, but this is campus police, please put it into perspective.

I was at Uconn when they sent us this message, it was after a few different rape scares. One with someone breaking in and trying to rape a sleeping girl off campus, and another that was assaulted near there. I forget what actually came of this case though

How the hell is that worthy of a call to the police? Lesson learned, if you are a man, cross the street before passing a female. Also, don't cross the street, it would likely be considered sexual harassment. Real lesson is, never go outside. Wait, you can't do that either, you will be labeled a peeping tom...

I had a friend in college who was getting out of a class after dark. He was walking to his car, and he noticed these girls leaning on his car, and the car next to his. As he approached his car to leave, one of the girls leaning on his car maced him. They all yelled, jumped in the other car, and left.

So the real life translation: A girl was standing somewhere, and a guy was on his way somewhere nearby that intersected with where she was standing. The girl gets nervous and leaves, the guy realizes that he inadvertently creeped her out, so he decides to take a different route so as to avoid scaring her. The girl files a police report, and the police take it seriously to avoid a lawsuit.

lol, paranoid women. One time I was driving on a dark rainy night, perfect replica of a scary hollywood picture, in a suburban area. I was trying to make my way back to the main road, but half the turns were half moons or dead ends, as it was a residential area. This girl was walking all alone down the sidewalk, possibly drunk I dunno, right around the time I decided to just slow down and do a K-Turn and backtrack. I didn't even see her at first, but when I slowed down to a stop to start the k-turn, this freaked her out enough to literally start shrieking and bust into a full fledged sprint. Again, perfect Hollywood scene. I didn't think it was offensive, just hilarious. I was kind of tempted to chase her for a block or two in my car just to fuck with her, but didn't.

But, to be fair to her, instincts are notoriously incorrect...but they can save you that 1 out of 10000 times...

In college I had to take a sociology class, and the professor was a hyper-feminist who basically told us that all men are rapists and then cited all kinds of retarded crap. This poor girl probably just finished her first day with Professor Crazy-pants and that poor guy probably just approached her to ask her out on a date but did a 180 when he noticed her wide-eyed stare of complete terror and her probably wetting herself.
