I'm inclined to agree with the rest of the article except this:

That statement by itself implies anybody who doesn't listen to a woman is a misogynist, no matter what reason one may have for not doing so. That simply isn't true unless the only reason a person doesn't want to listen to a woman is because on her gender. Basically, it's a pretty broad statement to make.

Your ethnicity doesn't "make" you do anything, thats just bigotry. If you're loud and obnoxious, people may shut you out, regardless of gender or ethnicity.

Attractive women are treated with many special privileges in this society. She wants to be treated like part of this special privileged class without making any of the sacrifices (diet) or hard work (exercise) to get there.

The comments on that post really got me steamed up.

TL;DR: A dozen or so (presumably) women had experiences where someone interrupted them or wouldn't let them speak. They assume that this happened because they are women.

I'm a white, straight male and I get interrupted all the TIME. Why do you suppose that is?

If people don't listen to you its probably because you come off as a person who doesn't know much about anything. Thats not the other persons fault. If you want to be heard, you need to make yourself heard. if you want people to trust your opinions and listen to your advice, then you need to prove yourself or at least present yourself as an intelligent person. Thats true for everyone. As much for me as it is for you (the author). Its got nothing to do with anyones junk.

One could argue that apathy towards women isn't a hateful act. However if not misogynistic, it's at least sexist.
