Yeah reading people’s comments on the situation has really exposed some blatant anti-male attitudes.

Afghani female students are evacuated and given scholarships here in the US and praised for their bravery, meanwhile male Afghani students of the same age are ridiculed for not “manning up” and sacrificing themselves for their country.

Every headline coming out of the west is pretty much just “women and children.” The implication being that men become disposable once they’re no longer children.

Since women and children are universally seen as worthy and men are not, advertisers generally prefer to use women and children (or puppies I guess) to show suffering and make people care. Obviously the elites don't actually care for women and children either. The elites are just relying on other people caring more. No doubt the feminists welcome the collaboration to push their anti-male hate / female supremacy thing.

Bro I wrote a thesis back in college about this very shit, after srebrenica and how UN and humanitarian groups in the area did every thing wrong, ignored UN protocols of at risk persons in an area when seiges fall and territory changes. I watched Biden’s speech last night, he referred to evacuating vulnerable people such as women journalists and (I think) women in government several times, no mention of the poor boys abused and at risk of abuse by the Taliban or the men that have risked their lives to assist American troops over the last 20 years or any of the other boys or men who are at risk of being punished/ killed/ tortured, gender will not save those boys and men, shame on Biden and all governments and people who choose who dies and who deserves life based on their genitalia.

The thing about this that bkthers me is noone sees big picture. We're actually getting kit of Afghanistan. Thats major! Yes, there are logistical issues. But what noone is saying, admitting, or whatever is - this administration is cleaning up other peoples's mess. Literally a mess compound3d by lreviois administrations.

Our Afghan allies are getting left behind to certain death, because he didn't plan anything, and wanted to look good.

He's already said that any American citizen who can't make their way to the Kabul airport is getting left behind -and he has no plans of going back for hostage situations.

When asked about pictures of Afghan people literally falling to their deaths, trying to cling to American planes as they left, he huffily responded with, "Well, that was four or five days ago!"

Many, many people are criticizing Joe Biden over this scenario. Many people are saying this is worse than our panicked retreat from Saigon in Vietnam, because this was planned. Biden knew this was coming, because he agreed to it.

I understand the frustration... However, saying that people only criticize Biden because of 'women' is categorically untrue. Many, many people are criticizing him, with many calling for his impeachment, over his handling of this entire debacle -many, many people are criticizing him for leaving our Afghan allies behind -with no mention of what gender those allies are.

People are concerned about women being left to the Taliban, yes. Rightfully so, because all the bullshit fear and paranoia the Radical Feminists tell women they suffer from in America are legitimately a way of life in many Muslim nations. There are already dozens of credible reports of women being shot dead for not wearing a burkha. Just because feminists in America and Europe are petty, manipulative idiots, doesn't mean we should ignore the fact that, in many third world nations, women are considered to be little more than property, and can be beaten, or even killed, for disagreeing with a man, being spotted in public without a man, or even something as stupid as being able to see their hair.

What should really get your blood boiling is these same feminists have spent the last twenty years crowing about how Islam is great for women, Islam is freeing for women, Islam is empowering for women... but now that shit's hit the fan, they're all concerned about women being left to Muslim extremists. Meaning they were lying then, or they were lying now.

I do feel that Men get crapped on too much sometimes, but Women and Children must 100% be first in Afghanistan.

If you're a man you at least have the choice to jump over the Pakistan border and seek refuge there.

Women and children won't have that option.

After the Taliban changes things back to what they were like before, women and children won't be able to drive, go to school, go outside alone, open the door to their home if there isn't a man at home, choose a husband, choose not to get married, choose not to have children, play, play sports and a ton of other things.

Comparing the rights that men have over there to the rights women have is like comparing the rights of humans and cockroaches around the world.

Countries like this serve as a great example for people protesting for men's rights to point out how hypocritical few wave feminists are as the vast majority of them act completely ignorant in matters like this unless it's all over the news.

To be fair the Taliban were extremely oppressive towards women during their rule. That’s not to say that men did not suffer too, the Taliban were oppressive and just crazy in general (IIRC they banned music and television). But women really had it especially bad. They were not allowed to go to school while men were. They were not allowed to work while men were. They were not allowed to even leave their homes without completely covering themselves and being accompanied by a male guardian at all times. The word of a man in “legal” disputes was worth that of two women. While I completely agree that the suffering of women is extremely focused on by the media while the suffering of men is typically not taken nearly as seriously, I really think the focus on women here is justified for the most part. If Afghanistan goes back to the way it was under Taliban rule in the 90’s then everyone has a lot to lose, but women really do have the most to lose in this case.
