Do it now, think back to when you were a child and how people treated you. Compare it to now.

Even boys are treated with much less empathy according to research, but I remembered a few instances where someone cared about my emotions and tried to comfort me, I was 11-13. I remember those moments as so magical, very special. My mom is the "boys are less effort" type and literally kept me alone for weeks in a dark crib. But I remember those several few instances where a teacher cared, and I wasn't seen as this evil thing, I was just a kid and people didn't mind me. To a certain extent I still had an innate value, and that's only because I was a child.

Being older, even though you look fine and mind your own business, it's this hostility, invisibility, and having 0 innate value. Nothing is about you. It's entirely about what you have to give to others just to get the slightest sense of value or worth. You HAVE to have something in order to earn or have it first, and you often start from the minus levels, not even 0.

You wanting normal treatment (like no sexism) gets you attacked, because you're supposed to only think about others, you don't matter. It's like, the only reason you had any innate value as a kid was entirely because you were still considered a child, while universally girls were still given more empathy and care, but women never lost that. And you did, all of it.

You lost the small amount of innate value you had as a kid and it hit below 0 levels, to automatic hostility. I remember the time when this hostility grew to hysteric levels with feminism constantly attacking men with overgeneralized rapist and harasser attackers and I felt like shit, it was constant. Then everyone trend-chased and felt emotionally validated because who doesn't have a frustration with the other gender? It gave them validation to now have the freedom to attack the other gender and "vent" with hate speech.

Now I don't know what world we live in, but a normal looking guy just minding their own business (and literally just existing) cannot possibly do anything to elicit hostility unless you're victim-blaming the sexism that others have on this guy. We forgot the human.

And that's the strangest thing ever, I wish I was back to being a child, just existing wasn't such a desolate, hostile task filled with easing others' sexism. I can look good and get stares, attention and some crushes, and I know it's only because the way I act is meeting a masculine ideal. If I behaved like a total softie and were ugly/average I know it'll be all %100 gone to being a human trash. You're only balancing the -%80 playing field in this life. I think there's a pretty fuck-up if there are people feeling like they wish to escape their gender just because switching it would make them seen as more human and innately valuable.
