Men taking over female spaces on Reddit is so common. Majority, if not all, of the Gone Wild and sex subreddits are moderated by men. GoneWildScars (yes, that’s a real subreddit) even has a pinned post that “reminds” people of the fact they should be posting nudes, not just pictures of their scars. There was a subreddit for small boobs that was run by a man with a fetish for big boobs. I think the ladies who had subscribed did a mass exodus from the subreddit and had to organise elsewhere.

I've been banned by that sub for commenting something true and related to the post about my personal observation. When I asked why, they made bullshit up about me breaking a rules, basically saying that what I said wasn't true. I was banned within seconds of commenting.

In the comment section of the same post, men commented misogynistic shit but their comments were still there. Most of those men are active in anti-feminist subs, but their comments get interactions, which mean they weren't banned.

Yep! Seen some users on here get upset because they think they're being rejected by Feminist subs, and while libfem and pickmes certainly don't want to hear the truth, the issue is more insidious than that. These depraved losers have purposefully gone out of there way to create seemingly feminist or when spaces, in the name of continuing to brainwash and gaslight women.

The true tragedy is that young women and women in general might go onto these subs hoping for a safe space tot all among their fellow women, and get further rejected and indocrined into the male agenda. Instead of rightfully leaving men hurting them, they're told to stay, instead of speaking out they're told to be quiet. Their fears and concerns at belittled and treated as inconsequential. It's truly disgusting and sad.

Which is why more women should continue getting into tech and STEM and in creating tech products.

Not for the sake of "visual" diversity on the team's staff page. But so that they are in a power to veto LVMs in power, or create an entire new product and community entirely.

We're literally living the consequences of LVM dominated internet spaces going unchecked. So much of their degenerate behavior goes unchecked because the other LVMs in power in other subs will back them.

This is the real reason why we need more diversity in power.

I got banned from there for saying men should have their own birth control so it's not all on women. I was told I was banned for brigading and when I questioned it I was muted. No men should be in charge of women's subs like wtf? How is that even a thing? It's bullshit and another way to silence us. I struggle with Feminism for this reason. Feminism if it wants to be fair to women needs to be run by women and not men. If a society run by men could provide for women then we wouldn't need Feminism in the first place. Men will control and dominate spaces they're in so they themselves have to be moderated in female spaces. I don't know what Feminism is now. I considered it a female space which primarily focuses on the welfare and education of women with men as SUPPORT only not leaders. Men are there to learn too but not to teach.

MRAs are misogynistic creeps who know nothing about women. That one of them is a pedo does not surprise me. If he is crying about having his freedom to be an abuser removed and calling it extreme feminism then I have no idea why he is not banned. He should be reported to the police (can someone do that? I don't live in the states).
