Hilarious that a feminist is expecting a sub to be open to her idiocy. Has she never been on ANY feminist sub? I do not think there are any that allow a free discussion.

This is just sad. When men come out against this behavior, it's misogyny. I guess it's up to the women to call this stuff out.

[–]TomorrowNeverCumz 38 points39 points40 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yup as a guy, you'll get downvoted to hell for saying anything.. so we make subs like this and laugh

[–]OhBarnacles_007 25 points26 points27 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Everything is misogyny these days. You can't tell women anything anymore, say anything, hell being alone with them is a gamble. So overly protected with 0 responsibility. In England you get 11k for reporting rape, but only for women.

Equality!

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Exactly. This is a woman problem. Men can't fix this.

[–]Flashy_Glove6208 63 points64 points65 points 4 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The last part says it all....

'if anyone has problem with it they can kiss my ass'

No accountability, no regret.

Self-glorification of her bad choices and a pre-emptive attack on people who'd call it out.

Incest is also typically one of the happily accepted reasons to get an abortion.

Despite what Mormons and other like-minded cults would have you believe, a few generations of fucking your third cousin is still a great way to lower the average IQ of future generations.

[–]lurkerhasarisen52 points 4 years ago [recovered] (9 children) | Copy Link

From a genetic perspective, the children of third cousins are no more likely to have defects than the children of people with no connection at all. (Although if you go back far enough we're all related.) Unless they grew up in the same household like brother and sister it's no big deal. I think that means they have one set of great-great-grandparents in common.

She's still a total train wreck, though.

[–]V_MKilodick Converter 25 points26 points27 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I've done some genealogy. Its worth pointing out that you have 16 g-g-grandparents. So if you grow up in a farm village of 1600 people, which is actually kinda large, the odds of smashing a 3rd cousin completely randomly are about 1 percent, so its certainly going to happen. If you live in New York City and date completely randomly the percent odds are quite a bit lower LOL.

Genetically you have very little in common at only 3rd cousin/g-g-grandparent level because there's so much intermixing of genes at every generation. Comes up a lot in genealogy where if you have some distant ancestor who's famous the percentage of your genetic material from that famous person is microscopic after a certain number of years. Which is how 3rd cousins can pragmatically experimentally reproduce without genetic problems. Theres been interesting research that medically all you need to prevent genetic problems long term is not marrying someone with the same inherited male lineage last name. Its not like that was invented millennia ago by space aliens its just that cultures that had more permissive rules had enough genetic problems that they died out and were replaced by more successful us (so far). The point of bringing this up is I assume the linked poster girl is in the situation of her 3rd cousin and her having the same last name, which does tend to raise eyebrows even though its scientifically safe enough that specific scenario. Assuming she's not lying about him being 3rd cousin and actually being bro or dad.

Really the whole topic is just Reddit hates rural people. Its OK to hate on Reddit, as long as you hate rural people. Especially if they happen to be whiter than the cities then its mandatory on Reddit to hate them. But if you're not a hater, like me, then the whole topic is "shrugs shoulders" and move on.

[–]Kwen_Oellogg 14 points15 points16 points 4 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

It's one set of great-grand parents. But that's so far back the kid isn't going to have any problems from the relation.

[–]HeadCowGrazing 19 points20 points21 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I remember watching a lecture that actually said 3rd-4th cousins is the ideal mate. They are not genetically similar enough that it causes defects, while being similar enough to have the best combinations of genes. Robert Sapolsky was the person giving the lecture, and I don't even think he's from Alabama!

[–]HurrDurrGrammurr 7 points8 points9 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

No he was right and you miscorrected him.

1st cousins have the same grandparents

2nd cousins have the same great grandparents

3rd cousins have the same great great grandparents

[–]Old_Cyrus 3 points4 points5 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not to put too fine a point on it, but…

1st cousins have one set of common grandparents. Etc., etc. Only siblings would have all of the same grandparents.

Family Relations Tree

The odds are that if you are that distantly related, you might not have any of the same chromosomes.

[–]genealojist 1 point2 points3 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There can be a slight elevation of issues. I have relatives whose parents are related, who have congenital blindness. It’s shown up in multiple crossings of descendants of a particular set of ancestors. That said, most of the people from the area I grew up in are children of related parents have no genetic issues (my mom is a ‘move-in’ so my parents aren’t related), but there are enough people with problems that I wouldn’t want to date/marry a cousin, even as distant as 3rd/4th cousins.

[–]Harry_TeakHas a trained eye for the kilodick stare. 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That doesn't take into account the possibly stacked genetic defects already present if she lives in an area or is part of a family where cousin-fucking is popular. I doubt that the idea just occurred to her out of the blue one day.

Aye, trashy is no respecter of region - nor of skin color. I've known urban blacks who were every ounce the train wreck this woman is, including fucking people to whom they're related (and much more closely than 3rd cousin, for that matter).

[–]king_of_the_potato_p 13 points14 points15 points 4 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

People love stereotyping the south, especially people fron NY and cali.

The irony being every southern state has a higher rate of literacy than NY and Cali, in fact those two states are the lowest. Best part is they can't blame it on Hispanic people or foreigners because digging further you can find it broken down by race and immigration status.

[–]taco_smasher69 16 points17 points18 points 4 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Cali guy here. After living a decade in the San Francisco Bay Area and having grown up in the south, I can honestly say everyone is fucked up. It’s just that the southerners aren’t nearly as fucked up as liberals claim (not even close), and the liberals are nowhere near as enlightened as they claim to be (virtue signaling assholes).

[–]king_of_the_potato_p 4 points5 points6 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh I just find it amusing that they talk so much shit but then find out Alabama has a higher rate of literacy.

Periods, man. They are a great way to end a thought or a sentence. Like this: I am about to end this sentence.

I learned this when I was young an' dumb.

[–][deleted] 24 points25 points26 points 4 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

You think she understands how periods work? If they did they wouldn’t all end up with teen pregnancies.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 4 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Perhaps it's a new, Avant-guard writing style that I am just not used to? Like maybe she is the next Ginsberg; she is the next Beatnik poet. And the style is to just shit out a bunch of random thoughts with no grammar. I'd love to get to know her on a deeper level...and maybe take care of this kid? This woman (and I don't mean to gender people) is a true artist.

I look at some of these and I refuse to believe someone wrote that and said, "I truly believe this will attract a man". These people are dead serious though and that is very scary that people like this exist.

[–]V_MKilodick Converter 10 points11 points12 points 4 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"I truly believe this will attract a man"

Shit tests. Its all shit tests.

Her profile boils down to "I have a 22 year old female hole, I let guys use it, and you can use it, if you pass my shit test by ignoring my ridiculous profile".

Also there's some weird blame game going on where if the "relationship" fails (maybe more of a rape than a typical pump n dump, or her kid gets it, or who knows...) then she can blame matching up with a bad guy by her having a shit profile. If she posted a serious honest from the heart profile, and something bad happened then she's to blame and she might feel bad.

But really all those profiles boil down to "swipe for your turn at some 22 year old female holes" and the rest is filler, shit tests, placeholders, etc.
