I think the fact that a lot of men who lift are also single or have issues with women is solid evidence that looking jacked isn't all that helpful. And most men with attractive women don't have anything other than an average ish but in shape physique (not fat, not skinny, usually decent shape).

I do think that there's a niche of women who do like a lot of muscle. Generally women who are heavily into fitness themselves. But aside from that, other women who are not in that group literally don't care. It's actually detrimental because you are usually at risk of being seen as narcissistic (to some degree) or obsessed with yourself.

What women do find attractive is a lean physique that's added to a pretty face and usually but not always a tall frame too. Being a roided bodybuilder works for the fitness girls, but it turns off all others.
