I’m not going to watch the video but let me guess she’ll see no problem with her doing all the house chores while ‘splitting’ the bills (paying for the majority of stuff because of ‘love’) and teach her future daughter to do the same and settle and say it's empowerment?

Ew, I hate couples that bicker. If they are bickering heatedly over such a simple thing then imagine what it would be like down the line? And I get she was being forceful but I wouldn’t take “Just shut up” lying down, I’d get up and be like “FINE”. Can’t watch the rest, it’s too cringey 😬

I'm actually glad she did it; she die give him several chances to explain himself but rather than saying for example how ridiculously gorgeous she is and that paying would be the least he could do to make up for a fraction of her efforts, alongside with stating that due to supply and demand it doesn't make sense for women to pay, he said "shut up for once" and "I want to be a gentleman", two sentences outing him for being ignorant, selfish and misogynistic (or at least apparently not liking it when women have a voice of their own, even when said voice is so beautiful)

This is like the 1 in maybe 50 scenarios where offering to pay actually makes him show his red flags. Not good odds tho which is why it's the general rule to do the opposite but i'm glad about how it turned out - him outing himself in a matter of seconds.
