How common do you think is the hot girl + average looking guy with lots of money, type of relationship?

In my family, it is fairly common, with both my mom and sister and their spouses falling into this category. My mom was the young attractive woman (8+ on the looks scale) who married an average looking man, but was smart, hard-working, and had the potential to make a lot of money. Growing up, while my dad was the primary breadwinner who indeed, was making more money than at least 95% of people, my mom had the luxury of being a stay at home mom who at times homeschooled me and at other times, worked a series of low paying jobs that fulfilled her passions.

My sister and her (former) spouse were the same way. My sister was a petite attractive blonde (at least an 8) who married an average looking, but very smart, hard-working man who had the potential to make a lot of money. While my sister didn't even go to college, her husband was college educated and was making enough bank to support the both of them.
