I'm still fairly young, I'm 20 and I'm a med student. I've always had dreams of being a wife and a mother and before going to med school I discussed this with my family and friends.
While some assured me that there are many doctors that get married, some said I might spend my life working and studying and find myself old and lonely someday and that thought really scares me.
My parents are paying for my education so I'm very
privileged to graduate with no dept.
I will graduate at 27-29 but I start my residency at 24 and in my country residency is relatively stable (no moving around every year)
I want some insight on how to present myself, how to balance studying/working and dating, and is it true that some men don't like dating med students/doctors ?
And any other advice really is welcome and appreciated.

Thank you so much for your insight, the way you talk fondly about your wife is very heartwarming.
I do actually enjoy doing chores and cooking, and I do want things a certain way and I in no way see that housework makes me inferior, I got over that idea years ago since I was an angry teen hahaha

Ah yes, find someone in college when they don’t even know who they are and then when they actually grow up at 25+ you will realise you are in absolutely no way compatible.

I checked your post and I noticed that med school timeline in your country is very similar in mine. Are you from france by any chance?

Girl, stop. Be a nurse. It’s the same thing without the ego. Be a nurse then go home and rub your man’s feet or whatever the fuck you plan to do

I actually enjoy my medical career and don't feel like changing it, nurses get paid way less where I live. Also ego isn't that big ofva problem since I've never had pride in pursuing a medical career, it's just a field that's I'm truly passionate about.
