Taking a woman's claims of abuse/assault seriously isn't sexist--in fact, ALL abuse claims should be taken seriously (male or female). What IS sexist, however, is when proper investigation and the need for evidence is completely disregarded, simply because the accuser is female. With that logic, any statement made by a woman could put literally anyone behind bars. What if a woman accuses ANOTHER woman of something? Then, who's side do you take?? Believing anyone solely based on their gender gives that gender the opportunity to be dishonest and manipulative, should they feel a desire for revenge, malice, etc.

Let's face it: if women report their incidents in a timely manner while evidence is still fresh and able to be collected, then their cases will be 10x stronger than it will if they wait years or even decades to come forward and no more proof is available for testimony.

Don't believe genders--believe EVIDENCE.

I want to do a series of memes about the JD/AH case

like the picture of the turd on a bed with the label "My reserve in belivingAllWomen" with an arrow pointing to the bed, and "Amber Heard" pointing to the poop.

There's a video floating around reddit, girl steps off of elevator and punches and beats a guy as he walks without defending himself down a corridor. Again with the labels "My unshaking duty to BelieveAllWomen" over the guy and "Amber Heard" over his violent attacker.

Also I've seen a video of a woman almost killing herself setting fire to her ex's car. "My perseverance in upholding BelieveAllWomen" on the car, with "Amber Heard" over the woman pouring gasoline through the window.

They get awfully mad when I say there have been enough lies thrown around that no, I absolutely won’t just condemn a man because you said to. I personally know a guy that barely brushed up against a girls ass at work. She went right to the office. There barely was an investigation and he lost his job. Of course we all refused to work with her so she ended up quitting. I don’t even want to be with females by myself unless we are on a date or something and even then I watch myself

Yes, it's biased. But a lot of those kinds of slogans (Black lives matters etc) are being pushed to counteract the years of supression.

For centuries women were literally mens property, husbands had the right to rape their wives. This believe only started to change during the feminist waves in the 20th century. The second wave in the 70's specifically targeted body and sexual freedom.

Of course in the last 50 years a lot has changed for the better. But sex is still a difficult subject so it's not discussed as much and a lot of the old gender biased ideas and power dynamic still linger. Women not being believed when they say a powerful man raped them. Sex workers nog being taken serious at all. Marital rape not being believed. But it's also a problem for men when police won't believe them when they are abused by a woman.

So these issues are important to bring to attention again so we can start discussing them and change lingering biased ideas. It's not that women should be believed, no questions asked, straight to jail with men. Women should be believed so atleast an investigation starts by police, HR etc.

Its a knee jerk reaction to the overwhelming tendency to NOT beileve women. Its a over correction, obviously, and i hope eventually we can learn 'beileve all victims. Inveatigate all accusations' problem is the wat we investigate sexual assault is terrible for both men and women

Right now we have a once in a lifetime opportunity. The J.D/A.H. trial is going on right now and #BelieveAllWomen is very relevant to the situation. I think each and every person who cares about men's rights should be glued to this. I predict that if J.D. wins the lamestream media will try to bury it. Even though every media outlet has said their piece about it. When they attempt to bury it, that's going to be our moment. That is the moment when every man should post something, anything addressing how wrong this is and how it almost ruined this man's life.
