I concur. There is a difference between advocating for what we as humans need to be healed and become the best versions of ourselves v. tangentializing into hating on others. That is a toxic feeling of empowerment that takes us away from the focus here.

Constructive anti-feminism is a subset of men's advocacy, but it doesn't supersede it.

We only care about anti-feminism because feminism leads to male suffering, in the same way we care about traditionalist misandry because it hurts men.

On the other hand, we also have to make our spaces more welcoming to new voices, even if we might not entirely agree with them. I think our tolerance should depend on the kind of space we are talking about. On a Discord server for example, I'd welcome a more diverse set of opinions. As it relates to this subreddit, I think you are spot on. We need to strictly divert the focus back to men as much as possible.

If you start off with a very distinct area of interest over time and with poor decisions [these are inevitable] that area will get smaller and smaller until your permitted topics of discussion are very limited indeed.
You are much better off having a slightly less strict topic list that allows tangenital posts to be made.
You also have to consider that your interpretation of what this sub is all about will differ greatly from what other people think.
I don't think this video belongs on this sub either, but it doesn't hurt the sub at all that it was posted.

The person who posted it in our sub is a known MRA. I didn't check the video personally. And the post didn't get reported.

But because you commented on it, OP removed it.

Moreover, I don't think we need to gatekeep our sub too closely, as long as we can discuss when things like this pop up.

OP, she called patriarchy a lie, the pay gap a lie, said gender differences aren't necessarily negative or socially constructed, and described the advances made for women as classical liberalism in origin, and ended with "I want to create a space for women with liberal views, but don't agree with feminism."

As someone who's studied the works of John Locke and other classical liberals, that is not conservatism, except for maybe the gender differences part; you really can't get more left than that without ending up in extremist territory. Or feminist territory, which is much the same thing. And yes, those statements do address men's issues tangentially, but not all of them, and not directly... so if you want something more solid from her, then I'd say just ask her. It's a new channel, if you have a particular issue to address she'll probably take you up on it. She's been responsive to the commentary I've seen so far (she posted in a few other subs I follow). So she's not posting and ghosting.

If she's not interested in helping to reduce inequality through social change, if those inequalities are men's issues, then you'll have made a determination. But I think it's rather a bit too premature to say that now.

I'm really glad this action was taken. To be taken more seriously, we have to start doing better in what content and message we send.

I hate going slippery slope, but when you get lax about things like this, it's only a stones-throw away from being a cess pool where things like the Sharon Osborne clip are posted 100 times a day.

I think the vast majority of people here agree that there are parts - large parts - of feminism that have done harm to men as a class. That doesn't mean all feminism is bad, or that there aren't valid fights that still need to be fought on behalf of women. Criticizing feminism when it specifically infringes upon the rights of men is necessary - simply taking aim at feminism with no particular anti-male part to view is dangerous and makes us look like exactly who our critics say we are.

There is nothing offensive about this video, and some of the points dovetail with many of the points men have presented on this sub. The only reason you seem to be complaining is because you don't trust women.

It's getting hard to distinguish this sub from one which is misogynist.

I thought she was great, and ostensibly ideologically aligned with the sub.

Unless of course the goal of the sub is to hate or resent women or feminists. In which case, carry on.
