Sorry if this gets kind of long or muddled. I want to ask other people who have gone through this but I want to get some of the stuff out of my head. Me and my wife have been together 8 years and married. We have a 3 year old together and she has a child from a previous relationship, that child's father has never been in the picture and when her child was 3-4 she asked me if I would be her dad because she didn't have one. I have raised and loved this child like she was my own.

I am not upset about our marriage ending. I ultimately think this is the best thing for me personally as she very manipulative and always projected her insecurities on me. I was actually depressed for over a year before I saw a therapist and realized I was carrying her feelings around and not my own. I told her in July I was unhappy and struggling to want to continue being with her. She had quit working full time and was running the road all summer using my credit card to pay for it and then telling me I was "totally unconcerned with her financial situation" I told her to get a full time job and stop wasting time with social media MLMs that had never done anything for our family except cost us, well cost me, money. I work my ass off in a commission based blue collar job, she says I make good money but I make a good hourly wage, the rest of it I earn.

So when I tell her I'm unhappy and not sure I want to continue the first thing she asks is who the other woman is. I have not ever and will not ever cheat in a relationship. I don't think she could believe I didn't want to be with her anymore because of her. We talked about counseling and she gas lite me into believing we may attempt a change. Then end of July she gets drunk and corners me in our bathroom. Informs me of how much of a shity father and husband I am tells me she is going to hire a lawyer and have me painted as a pos drug addict and take our son away from me. An hour later she passed out in the bed and the next day claimed to not remember the convo. I relayed some of what was said she said I was lying that she would never act like that. Not the first time she's gotten drunk, acted an ass and then taken no responsibility for it too. Counseling went out the window. 2 weeks later I found out she applying for home loans and even tried to get approved to buy the house we live in. Then her stupid lawyer sent a bill to the house and I happen to check the mail. I knew what was about to go down. BTW, I'm not a drug addict I smoke a little recreational weed and use delta8. But generally late at night after kids are in bed. She's always known and ever joined in on occasions.

I offer my terms of divorce to her verbally one night after kids are in bed. I will sign paperwork tomorrow and pay lawyer fees if she will agree to 50/50 custody 7on7off with our son. I will take full financial responsibility for everything he ever needs and pay for schooling she will maintain his health insurance. Nope. Wasn't good enough. She has told the lawyer what she said she would and when I was served she's asking for full custody with me having weekend. Supervised visitations! Fuck her.

She moved out the day I was served. That was a whole white trash debacle that I don't think anyone would believe. She had her aunt pick our son up from school at 10am the morning before she moved out. She had her aunt hide him and I currently haven't seen my son in over 3 weeks. She let me talk to him once and I told him how much I loved and missed him and couldn't wait for him to come hangout again. He said he was never coming back to my house. Mommy told him that.

We had a PDL hearing scheduled for a week ago but my attorney could not be there so they postponed it and I haven't got a new date yet. My wife and her attorneys tried to corner me in the hallway and get me to agree to supervised visitations until the hearing was done. They wanted me to agree to a hair follicle test to and go that day. But without my attorney present I told them I wouldn't agree to anything.

So here we are, I haven't seen my son in over 3 weeks. I haven't talked to my son in over 3 weeks. She has removed him from a school we worked hard to get him into. I know where they are living but she had me trespassed from there the day she moved out.

My attorney says he thinks we have a very good case and this will go our way. But I also paid him 5k so I somewhat feel like he has to tell me that. I've never been away from son for more than 72hrs and the last day we spent together we sat on my truck and talked for over 45 minutes. Spent the day cutting grass and then watched Hulk to end the night.

I want to call her and scream how much of a pos I think she is. I want to head butt a wall and fight everything. But I'm holding it together. I know anything I do will make it worse for me and I am already terrified I will get fucked over in court. So I sit at home. Clean the house watch TV and post on reddit. Also been working out like crazy and have got in the best shape I've ever been in. But this sucks guys.
