Aside from the obvious reasons why complicate your life when what you really need at this moment is simplicity? Bringing another person into your mess is unfair to them because you can’t give them your entire attention or time. Plus it would be awkward as all hell.

I don't recommend it. My ex and I were amicable and things were ok, but then my ex started dating while I was still there before I could move out and it definitely made things worse.

I would do it only after the divorce has been finalized. Why introduce complexity? Your attention should be on your case, yourself and your kids if you have any, that is more than enough.

There will always be women other there, wait until after you are at least not living together. No matter how amicable or messy the divorce, the STBX hearing the bed shake and another women crying out in O isn't going to help things...

IF you must, keep it VERY off the radar and go to the other persons house. Even then, just asking for unnecessary drama. Remember for most woman, their feelings are their reality. If they are pissed of they will attack, and that is just a huge waste of money and time.

You should grill a steak and sides and then pack everything up and have a picnic with the rebound I mean your date. Better yet, if yall own a boat take your rebound to the dock thats right in the neighborhood and when your STBX is walking the dogs she will see you on your date. Date after you separate.

If you need a women while your going thru a divorce for anything other than sex your looking for emotional support. Which leads to a relationship, which leads to you not healing correctly from your divorce.

Go take a trip somewhere. Get your rocks off and sort out your divorce.

No STBX wants to see who is possibly a)going to get some of her money and b) take your attention away from her . Amicable sure...unless your wealthy no women will ok with living in the same house with you while.your dating another girl ontop of that while your divorcing

Um… YES! Maybe.. depending on your state. I learned the hard way that it isn’t considered cheating if you’ve filed for divorce. So maybe wait until you file. And don’t take it home until you separate. And your kids can’t know about or meet her. And don’t put anything on an online dating profile that can be used against you. (Like a photo including your kids’ faces). Divorce is fucked up and you need emotional support. Btw, why are you waiting for your kid’s birthday?

You need to know your state laws. Then think about what the cause of your divorce was…are you over that? If your lawyer says it’s good and you were always loyal and your love for your ex died years ago….then maybe.

If there are children involved in a custody battle be prepared for your ex to use it against you

Absolutely bad idea dating while separated and living in the same house, disaster about to happen. How can you move on so fast without being healed? In my opinion man or woman who ends one relationship and moves on to another without working on themselves first usually doesn’t work out. You’re bringing the old garbage into the new relationship and you expect new results? It doesn’t work like that.

I waited until the divorce was final and she had moved out. I didn’t want to do anything that would piss her off. We were amicable during the process but why chance it. We have 2 kids and my main priority was getting the agreement done. I also wanted to make sure I was ready to date and I took about 6 months to get my head straight. My kids adjusted beautifully and I wanted to make sure they were ok as well. Me dating was probably the last thing on my mind. I’m dating somebody now and she’s amazing. You really value the things someone does when the 1 person who should have been doing it never did.
