TLDR : Men pay incredible amount of money to have women act as their girlfrend. Men pay huge prices for "sexual services" without any physical contact or satisfaction. Twitch shamelessly exploits young boys by selling them sexuality. I don't think it is uniquely due to men being more likely to be single and sexeless.

The selling of sex always existed in every society but this is taking stupid proportion these days. Men are getting starved and exploited more and more.

These last years we have seen the growth of OnlyFans. Cam girls always existed, desperate men paying to see naked women through a screen always existed. But with OnlyFans, they try to create a false intimate relationship, as if there was something personal between them and the men. It is already bad that men are dupe enough to pay to see a woman on screen but paying for a false emotional relationship is much worse imo. There are stories of men paying 10 000 $ just to meet a model. Even more worrying, we see those women on Twitch, were there are a lot of boys. On twitch we see men and probably boys paying to see women in swimsuit talking or being in a pool. How can this not be an outrage ? Selling sexuality to boys in not acceptable. Twitch even banned a girl who had sex on live for only a week. They clearly are happy to exploit boys. People call out Twitch's hypocrisy very often but nobody seem to worry about the boys.

The same issue arise with Strip Clubs. Every female strippers will tell you that the customers who give them the most money are men looking for emotional support or craving women's attention. Under a false sense of care, affection and support they get hundreds from those guys for dancing naked for them. In the case of strip clubs, the demonization of male sexuality made it so that the sexual contact is reduced to a minimum. In some club in UK, men are paying 50£ for a woman to dance in front of him or lure him to pay several times more to get a private room and a lap dance without being allowed to touch. How can men be so dupe, desesperate and value this little sexual contact with women so much ? Even if it is for a stag party, how can men not feel fooled and scamed, paying so much money for so little sexual services ? How can Strip Clubs thrive so much, specially in UK when zero contact in allowed ? These questions hold for cam girls, OnlyFans girls and twitch egirls too. Why are men so dupe and throw their money to this illusion of sexuality ?

Prostition also has this element of false intimacy even if men are getting real sexual contact and not the illusion of it. There are "escort girls" who are paid to act as wives and go on dinner with the guys.

I don't see from where this issue comes from. What is happening ? What push men to be so dupe, starved and needy ? Are men raised to value women's sexuality, attention and affection so much ? In countries with brothels, strip clubs are much less popular. Does it mean that the more men's sexuality is seen as acceptable the less they feel it is okay to pay money to see a naked woman in front of them ? Do strip clubs and OnlyFans thrive because men's idea of what sexual expression is acceptable is getting narrower. Eg., men accept to pay so much money for so little because any sexual expression that is more than looking feel wrong to them ? Do men 30 years ago would go to strip clubs just to watch without any contact ?

I am aware that there more men are single and sexeless but you don't see many women paying so much money to get a false boyfriend. When women go to strip clubs they can touch the guys, they get sexual contacts instead of merely the illusion of it. They are not as dupe. Moreover male strip clubs, OnlyFans, etc. are not as common as female ones.It is a uniquely male behavior that hurt men, their financial security and most of all their mental and emotional wellbeings.
