That's the reason I hate most comments from that site. It's full of the most Self-righteousness opinions you could ever found.

When presented with the "It's my body therefore my choice therefore you have no say in the matter" argument I usually respond like this:

"Well we actually have a way to essentially incubate a human baby outside of the female body through most of pregnancy. The transferal process is actually less invasive than a typical abortion is so now your body doesn't have to go through pregnancy. Science is awesome." (None of this is true as far as I know... yet)

Then they usually respond saying that this isn't the only reason they are getting an abortion. They'll say things like finances, commitment, life changes and all other legitimate arguments to getting an abortion that they normally don't talk about and dismiss when men try and give them as reasons to not want to be a father.

If these are reasons why you don't want to have a baby, then maybe it's fair for men to give the same reasons to not want to deal with fatherhood.

so it takes a man to also make an abortion happen hence he has to take some of the responsibility, but women "completely own their bodies and organs, no one can say shit or make them do anything, etc".

So when a woman wants something, she gets what she wants because no one can take anything from her (including responsibility when it suits), and when a man can be blamed or billed then she still gets what she wants.

This doesn't really have much to do with this (well, a little) but I think I should start saying this to the "pro-choicers" (btw, I'm fine with abortion). It kind of goes along with their whole "if you care about a fetus, but not a living human, you are not pro life" thing.

If you want a woman to be able to choose to not be a mother, but you don't think a man should have that option, you are not pro-choice.

I just want to see how they respond to that.

Btw, once again, I'm fine with abortion.

Don't see the problem with this, we want to apply an unbiased viewpoint right? Who says that abortion is always the answer?

Neutering someone actually proven to be a rapist (beyond a shadow of a doubt, not our ridiculous low-standards laws of today) would be fine since it would prevent them from impregnating future rape victims...

But beyond that, no. A guy can complain about child support AND be against abortion, because being against aborting a kid conceived doesn't mean you consented to conceive that kid.

You can be against a woman aborting your kid but still be pissed she say, raped you, or stole your condom, for example.

Kind of like how women can be mad about being raped and made pregnant, and still be against abortion. She can be mad about having to pay to raise a kid, or go through a pregnancy, while being against ending that pregnancy.

I'm not of the mind we should have to disown offspring though: rather, disowned should be their default state and we should have to buy in to own them.
