Yeah, this is super weird. Raising a disabled child basically means your life is done-zo, so I don't think it's that selfish of a decision.

There is no right or wrong decision here. I, personally am on the wife's side. Taking care of a kid with down syndrome is nearly impossible for me with the amount of money i make. I would have put the kid to adoption or medical care hospital.

I'm not a hypocrite; if i was born with a severe mental disorder, i wouldn't blame my parents for putting me to adoption, or going through an abortion, if they knew i would be mentally ill before i was born.

If i'm able to make tons of money to take care of the kid, i would, but i don't.

Can’t say I blame him. If I found out during pregnancy that my child would be disabled in some way like this or in another way equivalent to it, I would also not want to keep it.
