the first major problem with the red pill is not anything to with the actual ideology, but the sorts of people drawn to it, and what it's used for. Strong Masculine men with a history of success with women never needed the red pill, they were taught "red pill" ideas by male figures in their lives, but they have likely never even heard the term red pill used. a lot of red pill men are men who are angry at women because they got rejected or have been historically unsuccessful with women. Those angry men are drawn to redpill ideas, and that's why there is so much misogyny on redpill forums

The thing about redpill is that it works, 90 percent of red pill stuff is just self-improvement and social psychology, and the other 10 percent is excellent for hooking up with dumb girls who have no self-respect, but it falls apart when you meet the rare woman who has common sense and self-respect. so the red pill is great for sex and relationships with awful women, but that 10 percent is not conducive to a real healthy relationship. So if all you want is empty casual sex redpill is fine, but if you want real love then you cannot rely on redpill.

that's why many men grow out of redpill, they use it as a kickstart on there self-improvement journey, but once they become more successful, they start seeking out real romantic relationships. And then once they find out that the 10% of redpill doesn't work for real love they hone in on the self improvement and social psychology, drop the toxic parts and become former redpill positively masculine men
