Seriously. Any time a woman wants an ego boost, all she has to do is say she feels ugly. She’ll get SWARMS of people telling her she’s beautiful.

Meanwhile, a man is feeling down because he doesn’t get complimented. He will get ignored, mocked, and/or punished for showing insecurity.

My theory is the male suicide rates would go way down if people actually started complimenting men. I’ve read threads on Reddit where men goes years without getting told they’re handsome. Meanwhile, a morbidly obese woman could get on a dating app and have hundreds of matches.

It’s not a zero sum game, we can throw compliments towards men too.

Women say they don’t compliment for a variety of reasons. But if they normalized it, guys wouldn’t start thinking with the little head every once in a blue moon when they get complimented.
